I'm sure the answer is here somewhere, just so many posts to dig through. Before I make my $1000+ purchase of MYW tickets for my family, I want to clarify one thing. With the base tickets (no extra options whatsoever) will we be able to leave and return to the same park in the same day. I'm basing our whole vacation touring on this one point. (Don't want to pay $175 for hopping benefits that we more than likely won't need.)

Thanks,
Vicki

you can leave and return to the same park in the same day ~ just have your hand stamped before you exit the park. You will still need to put your pass in the turnstile when you return, but it will not take another day off.

Thanks Cepmom. That's what I thought, but would be mortified if that wasn't the case. BTW, checked on Disney website and that point isn't very clear. Almost gives the impression that if you want to come and go at all you must purchase the hopper option. They really should clarify that you can come and go within the same park/same day.

You're right about it being confusing...I remember reading it somewhere before but I can't find it now. Now that I can't find it in writing, I am starting to second guess myself !!

When we went in 2002 we had hopper passes, but I'm almost positive you can leave and re-enter the same park the same day with non-hopper passes. I haven't heard that they changed that with the new MYW tickets.

Have you tried calling CRO to verify it?
