Hello and welcome to my first PTR! I'm so happy you clicked on my title and hopefully I'll keep this interesting enough that you'll stick around until the end!

My backup title was "The Trip that Wasn't Supposed to Happen" so between the two you should have a good idea where this is headed.

Well let me introduce myself. My name is Jo and I’ve been in love with WDW most of my life.

So how did this obsession begin? When I was young my parents took me to Disney for the first time. The plan was to go when I was six and again when I was ten or eleven. Little did they know that was not how things would turn out! What can I say, I fell in love!

Each year after that I begged my parents to take me back for spring vacation. Truthfully, it was not difficult to convince them – they loved it too. Plus, being an only child has a lot of advantages! So every year we traveled to WDW, staying almost exclusively at CBR...

During my senior year of college a representative from Disney’s College Program came to talk about options after graduation. Although I had a pretty good idea what I wanted to do after college, I wasn’t quite ready to head out into the real world. So after doing some research, talking to my parents and my boyfriend (now husband but we’ll get to that later) I decided to spend six glorious months in Orlando working for the Mouse. Not bad, right!?!

During my stint at Disney, my DH, Charles, came to visit every couple months. Although he’d been to Disney a few times growing up he did not even remotely understand my fascination. I’m happy to say after his second visit with me he was hooked and we’ve enjoyed multiple trips back ever since!

Two years ago, Charles surprised me with a short trip for my birthday. We spent two fabulous nights at the Grand Floridian and on our last night he proposed. Can you say perfect!?! I never told Charles this but for as long as I can remember, I always dreamed of getting engaged at WDW. Lucky that he knows me so well, huh!?!

After spending a few months deciding where we wanted to have the wedding, we finally decided on Disney. It just felt right. So last year we had a magical wedding celebration at Walt Disney World.

(BTW - If anyone is considering having a Disney wedding or knows someone who is thinking about it I have two words – DO IT!!! I have nothing but great things to say about the entire process.)

Although I’ll try and post a lot of pictures on this report, there probably won’t be many of us as I like to retain some privacy. But here is one from the wedding...

So after that long introduction – how did our May trip come about? Well you’ll just have to stick around to find out!

Yes we will!! I gotta say I'm totally jealous that you got married at WDW!! I would love to get married there!!! That picture you posted from your wedding is beautiful!!
