Welcome Disney Fans!

We are driving down from Massachusetts because the airfare is about 3 times as much as it will cost us to drive! The kids want to drive straight down but we'll split the return trip into two days. My DH is willing to do most of the driving, so I'm outvoted.

Driving is not an option for us. We are from Vancouver, Canada.(6 hour flight) It would take us a week to get to Florida. LOL!!!

Have driven to Southern Cal to Disneyland before though. 2 very long days of driving so I sympothize with all you driving.

Thanks and yep for us it will be two days driving- Mobile Al is the hafe way point so about 10 hours each day, but so happy to be going on this cruise!!
Usually we do fly but I can't not see paying $500.00 per person for a 2.5 hour flight. That would be $2,000 for us 4. Crazy I think to pay that for such a short flight overall, if I see some lower air fares we may change our minds but if not that is ok also.

Is there someone in charge of the FE exchange? We would love to join. I have two boys ages 12 and 9.

I know I won't have time to go through all of these pages to read and catch up with you all and hope that everyone is doing well and that more folks will start talking more since it is closer to the sail date!!

We won't be driving...lol we have a 9 hr flight from the uk so we fly in the day before, crash out in a hotel for the night and get the DCL bus to the port in the morning.

Just a quick note...for anyone who may be in GTY status, and awaiting a stateroom assignment. We received ours this morning.

Of course, it didn't look like it received the best of reviews in the Stateroom Reports, so I called and was given a better room assignment. Same category, just more "centrally located".

Note: as I understand it, IGT, OGT, and VGT assignments may still take another 30 days to be handed out.

45 days out now!!!

Sorry, I am not 100% certain. As I understand the CM, the room number can be changed, if one is available in the same category...but not the room category. So, if a person with an IGT ressie doesn't like their 10A room assignment, and no other ones are available in the same 10A, they will not be bumped up to a 9A (etc.).
