BOYS??!!!!!!!!! Your DH SHOULD afraid, VERY very afraid!! My oldest DD will turn 14 next month and last summer we did the pool party!!!!!!!!! Be sure you have a huge supply of tylenol ready.

Two thoughts...

(1) Gin helps.

(2) Get them into the pool and keep them there as long as possible. We had a sleepover for DD10, and they swam before dinner, in the evening, and then had a "midnight swim", actually at 11 pm, but fun because it was dark. They went to sleep MUCH earlier than last year, when it was too cold to swim much!
