Hope you are feeling better Grace !!I have also been fighting a wicked cold this week !! We always fly, driving just takes soooo long !!This time when we went to Universal and SeaWorld we rented a vehicle !! Judy kinda like that!!

Driving is 17 hrs and we would have to rent a car in Orlando
Looking forward to hearing the Sea World part of your trip.. Did you the ALL=Day_ Dining???? we are thinking about it.

Hope you are both feeling much better now.

Grace, sounds like your hubby had a nice birthday...and did you say 40th anniversary too? Congratulations!!!

Well, what a week it has been...the more things unfolded, the more connections with the bombers and even my friends came to light. Very sad connections...being this is a public forum I don't want to say too much...but a very close friend of my friend (got that?) ...her son was murdered on 9/11/11... the case has not been solved. Turns out the oldest bomber said several times that he had no American friends...seems he used to be best friends with my friend's son who was murdered...and it was after that when the older brother/ bomber began to get very austere in his religious beliefs. It is all so upsetting....

Anyway, on a happier note Grace, it has to be nuts trying to figure out to fly or drive!! How long would the drive be and would it save a lot of money? I am sure you'll be renting a car once there since you'll not be staying onsite.

I would be very tempted to drive if it can be done reasonably comfortably.

I enjoyfamily times.. And I am lucky that we live close and we do things together

It was the 40 aniversary of our 1st date
which was a blind date.. one of my friends thought it would be funny to match us up..I was very quite,, Dave was outgoing.. we fell in love quickly.. he ask me 6 weeks later to marry him

We have priced a Van though Budget abourt $1600 +GAS
Flying is $2400 plus rental if orlando for 3 day

We are staying At POP's

We are leaning toward driving, we have 3 drivers. I do not drive ...you have to pay extra for each Driver,, because they are not spouses.

T feel that it best to drive with 2 car seats. suicases and stoller but it is hubby decision as he will be the main driver and paying.

Of course, how could I forget you are staying at POP! Have you stayed there before? I stayed the first time when it was new and I was very hesitant ...when we arrived I actually asked the front dek clerk to move us to another resort...saying, this just isn't for me. She was Sooo friendly and asked us to give it one night...on our way to the room, we decided too get in the spirit of the theme...walking past Lady and Tramp, then hearing Elvis on the juke box made us smile. Our room was one of the farthest behind the juke box, but we didn't mind at all because we loved the 50's theme. We were very pleasantly surprised. Y the room - I was worried it would be over the top like All Stars (never stayed but saw a room and visited resort). We loved the room and enjoyed our 4 nights in cold January. I stayed 4 more times after that! It works when trying to keep on a budget... Us my all time home away from home will always be the Polynesian...might not ever stay there again considering the rates now, but we did for most trips for years...stopped when the rates went up to $195 a ngt plus to - that would be fabulous today!!

Dee makes binder covers and letters .she says t -shirt disign are to hard.. but i think it would work to I have not show it my friend Susie yet( its a surprise) I ask Dee if she could do something with Mickey (me) and Cinderalla (Susie) and she did list specially for me .. wasn't the nice

I have stayed at Pop's before in 2009,, that how Rosie and I meet.. I do believe it her favorite.. We where in the 70's section.. had a courtyard view, not far from mr Potato head,, Enjoyed it Hopeing for 50's this time ..because of you and Rosie reamendations, will try to get over to AOA, really wanted to stay there, but castmember discount are not available. I would like to stay at the Ploy too, i will visted twice this trip.. Once for dinner at O'hana'sand of the Sprit of aloha show

Oh, try for 60's bldg 5 - it is still standard, but close to everything!! You could be pretty far back in the 50's if they do give you bldg 3 lake view.

Playing with grands is the best.. got Klassisa "the Princess Encyclopedia" from the rummage sales today for $1.00 it a beautiful book

Will be ordering the Photo pass + this week... $149.00 includes photo taken at resturants and ride pictures. think it a good deal.. we always take lots of PP pictures.
Think i found a code for all day dining at Sea World on mousesaves that gives it free have to see if I can get it to apply.

Hi Grace I have not been on the Disd much in the last 10 days due to being so sick !!I just broke down and went to Doctors today and am on steroids , Z pack anti biotics and a very strong cough syrup !!After just today I can feel improvement so am hoping by Monday to be my old self !! Your plans sound great so far!!

When we first saw the Main Street Electrical Parade in 1982 I did not like it at all nd could not understand the appeal....but we saw it twice a year for several years...then it was taken away and replaced by the "other" nighttime parade and then I really missed the MSEP!! I have seen it once since it's return and really hoping will get to see it with Sophia before it is gone again.

Also LOVE the old time Electrical Water Pageant - it goes by all the MK resorts and the MK every evening ...it starts about 9 and makes it's way around Bay Lake and the Lagoon.

Hope you are feeling better...and Rosie hope the drugs have kicked in and you are ready for that cruise next week!!

The only nightime parade I have seen is Specto I really like it.. parades are one of my favorite things to do I have seen the electic water parade.. Looking fowardr to see ing the new 2014 parade in the magic kingdom some day

We Are........

We rented a 12 Passenger Van from Budget.

Even though we are only 5 adults and 2 kids.. with carseats , luggage, stroller, cooler and stuff, though the 7 passanger was going to be to tight
We will have the van from July 3rd thur July 15th.
Glad to have one thing off the list

Still have to buy our tickets

Good afternoon.. It a beautiful sunny day here in Ohio

I finally ordered my Photopass+ today,, had plan to do it in April just did not get around ,

Hopefully will get started on printing some more autograph pages
, to go with the ones from our 2010 trip.. I like getting autographs
and been checking The creative fourm for jounal pages.

Been getting together our car presents and getting clothes together.. got new socks for me and hubby LOVE new socks for vacation

Got a gift certificate for mother's to get my nails done for our trip,, been looking at pininterest for Disney nails

Woorking on ideas for our Disney days.. Landen will be here Mon. Wed and Friday starting June10we will be watching a movie,, eating Disney food and doing crafts and games. Klassia too
Only 45 days to go!!!!!

Got travel pages, resort, Sea World , 3 or 4 for each park, and some special ones.. Books will not be all a like

Still have more to print.. super excited to see how everyone like there book.

Great idea to take the 12 passenger van, we travel in one of those vans with my drive trips for People and Places . Budget takes out the back seat and that gives us plenty of room for luggage for 10. Maybe you could ask if they would do that for you !!!
