Forensic Certificate

I've heard back from a job where they require you to get a "Forensic Certificate" before working in their laboratory. They offer it themselves. It looks like you pay them $130.00 and they send you the kit in the mail, then you have 2 days to complete the test and return it. Does this sound legitimate? I think it sounds weird and when I google this specific certification I only get the company website and then a bunch of hits for colleges offering certifications in the same thing that take at least one semester.
