I know this isn't exactly a science especially when you're from New England but can anyone tell me what the weather is like typically in mid May . Be in Disney and want to be prepared for RAIN and snow( opps new England you never know) LOL

I was there in mid-May a few years ago (8th thru 14th). It was very sunny, with temps in the mid-90s the whole week. Much hotter than anticipated, though fortunately the humidity wasn't in full effect by then. Even so, I ended up with a heat rash on the bottoms of both legs. We did have some rain, as at that time of year it's pretty likely.

Pretty safe bet you won't get snow in WDW in May, so you can ditch the snow boots in your luggage.

May is about the start of the summer/rainy season. Very typical weather will be morning/afternoon sun with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Afternoon pop-up t-storms are very common. Don't last all day, normally, just a little bit. Then it clears out. Some days you'll get no storms, some days you'll get many. Some days it'll be raining in MK and bright sunshine in AK.

There may be rain, but May was hot and DRY this year, though not as humid as June through October.

May is usually pretty nice from what I understand - we were unlucky though in 2012, with a looong tropical storm and 10 days of solid rain. Ugh.

So you'll probably get nice weather, but you can't guarantee it. It's Florida.

We are going May 4-13 next year so I watched the weather online and my son happened to be in Orlando on business during what will be our week next year. He reported that it was very hot...95 was common many days. I thought that was typically warmer than early May usually is? But he had little if any rain.

If you're not going in Jan or Feb then it's going to be hot with a chance of rain
