Ford Edge versus Grand Caravan - will we fit?

I have, cubic feet wise the standard suv class is bigger for storage. 18.6 versus 32 or 34 ish.

I took a peek at an Edge last night and if you are good at packing stuff in a car, this might just work for you. I saw people put a bunch of stuff in it( I was kind of amazed at what they managed to stuff in that cargo area) and they did fine.

I'm thinking it might, someone is going to pm me a picture of theirs stuffed lol! I did measure our bags and theoretically, cubic feet wise, it should easily fit but who knows. At the moment I've got 4 reservations. An Escape, which doesn't really seem any bigger than the Edge and comparable to my moms CRV (which would work), the Edge, a van and a Lincoln town car. All at very different price points.

You said you were renting from DTD. Have you priced out Alamo/National at the S/D or the car care center. You might get a better price there.

Unfortunately neither show availability for my drop off site at the port, for any car class. I do keep checking though! Right now ressies are with Avis and budget.
