Forbidden Journey Single Rider Line

Your welcome, it was quite easy, that was the queue of people for the ride, the other side was for exiting, we stepped over the chain and walked into the crevice, i am sure people must have wondered where we went when we never came out again.:rotfl:
Wish i had checked the camera settings before i took the pic, not sure why they where different as i usually never touch them

I was there last February and didn't bother with SR queue because of concern that they would direct me to a "non-modified" seat. The modified seats barely work for me, and I figured I couldn't request one since the whole point of SR is just to fill whatever random seats happen to be empty. Also there was such an overwhelming horde of people all over the place, esp. in the locker area, that I just sort of gave up and got in line with everyone else.

But now I am curious to see this alternative entrance to SR. I will shoot some photos, though I have really cheap camera and don't know how to post photos anyway. If I can figure it out, they should be up next week.:wizard:

The modifed seats are the last two seats in each bench, so as a single rider that last seat is where you'd be seated anyway. I too need the modified seats and have received that last end seat everytime I've ridden single rider. When you get to the front of the single rider line, just tell them you need the modified seat and they'll tell you to sit in the last seat (which just happens to be the modified one anyway).

aubriee, gave a walk through of where it was, and was very simple to find

This is so cool! Sounds like it keeps you away from the locker craziness. I have three teens so I'm sure we will use single rider several times. Although, it seems really daring to just walk up to some unmarked door and go in!

BTW, how many seats are in one FJ "car" anyway? Just wondering since we are a group of 5.

Four per vehicle. You'll probably be split 3&2. The design of the vehicle makes who you're riding with inconsequential anyway.

I was out at WWOHP today and did see the "crevice" passageway leading to the out-of-view SR door. Consistent with the photos posted in this thread, I saw some wheelchairs in the last part of the crevice that's still visible from the main walkway. I didn't get any photographs because I forgot to take my camera with me.

As I continued on the main walkway into the castle, I noticed the overhead sign pointing single riders to the left. No team member was stationed there, and the chain (which would have suggested to me that SR was closed) was not fastened. I think I saw the door that leads back out to the crevice passageway; possibly it was some other door, wasn't easy to be sure. Eventually I joined up with the other SR's and the wait was only a few minutes.

Before riding, I went through the 'castle tour' line, which I bet will turn into Universal Express one of these days. For now, though, it's a great way to see and hear all the iterations of each mini-show instead of having to shuffle past them in the regular line before they finish.

I'm still planning on photo-documenting this "secret" entrance and posting back here after Labor Day, that is if no one beats me to it.
