Iger? Seriously, is this the guy to run Disney? And from a "theme park centric" point of view, are there any indications this guy "gets it"?

$5 billion spent on improving the theme parks in recent years? (They didn't define "recent")

That has to include construction of new parks, right?
 
Based on the article, it sounds like he might as well be Eisner Jr. & it seems as more slash & cut headaches are on the way. Hopefully the board will finally grow a pair & clean house.


My guess is "recent" either means after Walt's reign or after Epcot opened.


Just a side note:
I think it speaks volumes about Eisner that he would leave his team (in a pivotal game) to beat the traffic. As much as I loathe the egomanical Ted Turner, I don't think he would have bailed.
