I'm new to the Creative Community, but not to the Dis (I mostly hang out on the Budget Board). I've been creating a lot more things lately and thought I'd start sharing a few things here while also getting inspiration from everyone's creations.
I'm pretty much a traditional paper scrapper, but LOVE to look at digi layouts and at some point may take the plunge and do both. In the meantime, here's a fun Countdown box that I made for our trip to WDW (We leave on Wednesday
). I was thinking it would be fun to start a thread where everyone posts their homemade Countdown to Disney calendars. If this thread already exists, I apologize in advance
I put two trading pins in each "drawer". One for each of our daughters. The cool thing about this project is that if you turn the drawer around you can decorate the other side for a countdown to something else (I'm going to do Halloween with this one).
I got the blank box at Hobby Lobby for $12.99 and it was 40% off so quite a deal. It's very sturdy chipboard and was already assembled so all I had to do was decorate it. The paper has been hanging around my craft room for years, but part of it came from HL and part from our LSS. Sorry the pictures are so enormous. I don't like resizing pics in photobucket and always forget to resize them before I upload. Enjoy!
