Thanks - I intend to do just that: Live life to the fullest. When mortality smacks you in the face, you realize just how fragile and precious this life is. And I just wanted to convey to the team what a comfort it was during my anxiety filled weeks to pop on the podcast and be taken away to Disney, if only in my mind.

Be a friend, lend a hand, really listen to someone, give more time and money to charity, give of myself, compassion instead of judgment: These are my aspirations now. Thanks again for the kind words.

I too just finished listening to the podcast. Slapster, that was a moving testimonial to the folks on the podcast crew. It was so well stated and I feel the same way about all they do. But more then that, I am ecstatic to hear it was a false alarm and there was no cancer. God Bless you and your family and keep on planning those trips.

Just got done listening to the Email Podcast this week, and all I have to say is thank you so much for sharing your story. My family has a history of cancer and the beginning of your story sounded all to familiar.

Your story offers is an amazing insight to the upside of having to go through this type of an ordeal.

I agree with you about the role the podcast can have in our lives. They are definitely the way I deal with the unpleasant things that are happening in life and we are lucky to have such a great place to go to in our minds.

I just heard the email show today. Thankfully Kelly (the OP) warned me to not listen while I was driving because she knew I would be a mess before the email started and she was right.
Thank you Jeff, for putting into words so eloquently the feelings that I think so many of us have. I am so glad you didn't have to endure the chemo/radiation and are planning your next trip with your family. Again, thank you for telling your story and reminding each of us to live each day to the fullest. Sometimes I forget - I really appreciated the reminder.
