Just got off the phone with disnet reservations and the CM there seened to be pretty positive that room discounts will be released fairly soon. "Around the first week in Sept" he said. Keep your hopes up!!

I spoke with a CM today who was also very confident that there will be another discount offered for Oct. Crossing my fingers for 40% off room only so we can book AKL for our first two nights.

Ugh. That's now the second time we've heard that particular rumor. Not really the one I wanted to be confirmed. I would have preferred next week.

My 45 days is tomorrow. Maybe I should downgrade my reservation now to a value and see if I get offered an upgrade. But, I'm too chicken to do that, especially since the room category I booked is sold out at rack rate. Which means that even if a discount comes out, and even if it applies to my dates (currently partly under blackout), I would have to switch resorts or room categories to get a discount.
