I have been searching for this question before I asked it, but since I haven't seen it, maybe someone can help me on this one.
We're not doing the park hopping option, but we are going back to the hotel for the afternoon break. So...is there some way our tickets/room cards are magically marked for which park we chose for that day? Or do we have to get our hands stamped in order to get back in the park? I have fears of us getting our hands stamped then going swimming in the hotel pool, putting on sunscreen, stuff like that and not having that stamp on one of us (especially my son - plays hard, sweats hard) when we return. If anyone could let me know how this will work, that would be great!

It's both. The computers will be able to see which park you visited that morning, AND you need your hand stamped. (If you didn't, you could give your tickets to someone else to use that same day.) However, the stamp simply won't wear off. They're designed to stay on for quite a while. You won't even be able to see it. They use ink that you look at under a black light.

My experience is that the CMs rarely look at the hand stamp, but you need to have it in case they do.
