Hello, I know I have seen this before but the "search" is not working? DS would like to know how much the pictures of him on TOT and RRC will be? We have seen this info somewhere and also if you purchase one the second one is slightly less expensive.

Thanks for directing me in the correct direction. ::yes::

I think that the 8x10 are $16.95 but am not 100% sure. They don't sell 5x7s. They do sell a sheet with 4 4x6's it think, but don't remember how much they were. We always buy the 8x10. I wish they would have a 5x7 like the park entrances.

We just got back and they are 16.95 at tax (18.06 I believe),but they are so worth it.Have fun!!!!

At Splash Mtn we paid 9.99 for our single picture but at T o T they were 16.95. Personally I think that is incredibly high. I bought the pix at Splash Mtn but passed on the T of T. Just couldn't justify it. Considering how much you pay for your room, tickets into the park, food, drinks--even a bottle of water at $2.50, the price on pix had to be at the very bottom of my list of purchases. If the prices were less, say $5 or even $7.50 for a 5 x 7 I would have bought one everywhere. I really wanted one of us at t of T and all the park entrances but again, just couldn't justify the added expense. Maybe the powers that be at WDW will consider this or somehow offer a package deal to get the pix less expensive. Yeah........right..........:earseek:

Actually, you aren't far off the mark. :) Disney recently trademarked a bunch of photo-related trademarks for a new service they are going to provide which will enable you to get the pictures after your vacation if you choose, and they will also sell you a "pass" to be used at multiple locations. There are no real details, just rough outlines, but according to it will happen sometime next year.

I thought I read somewhere that if you buy 2 photos it's a bit cheaper that buying just 1 and then they suggested to find someone else that is in your picture (other than your party) and go half on it? I don't know if that sounds cheap or not but every little bit helps.

That works great if you have more in your party than just your family but we had only DH, 3 DDs and myself. In 2001 I went w/6 friends from work and we took turns buying the pictures at each major ride and then when we got home we copied each picture at the local Kodak Picture Maker.
I wish now I had gone ahead and bought a couple more pictures--especially T o T and the ones as you come into the parks that are taken.

Where do you get the ones coming into the park and how much are they? Do you have to get them right away or pick them up as you leave for the day?

When you come into Magic Kingdom and start walking down Main Street toward Cindy's Castle, there are photographers everywhere. They'll stop and ask you if they can take a picture of you and your family. Also at Animal Kingdom when you go across the bridge and the Tree of Life is directly in front of you, there are photgraphers everywhere. I can't remember where they were at Epcot and MGM but I've seen the pictures from other families and they always try to get the main focal point of each Park behind you. Example---MK, Cindy's Castle, AK, The Tree of Life, etc....I would think at Epcot they'd want the World Ball and at MGM, Mickey's hat.

After they take your picture they'll give you a piece of paper w/a number on it. I think they're ready w/in 30 mins and can be picked up anytime. The really cool thing is if you're staying onsite, you can ask them to forward to your resort. On our first day at MK, we didn't know our room number yet and they said they'd have it sent to the gift shop. Picked it up that night and didn't have to worry about packing the pix around everywhere, it getting wet, wrinkled or being lost. Awesome service! Don't do like we did tho and be so tired when you leave to forget to stop and look at your shot. My understanding is they'll keep the pic on file for 24 hrs but after that they're gone. I might be wrong on the time but I think that's correct.

What a great chance to get EVERYONE in the picture. I always say there is no proof I even exist as I am never in a family shot as I am always behind the camera. do you know what sizes and prices are available?

If I remember correctly most of the pix are 5 x 7 and come in a very nice frame. Of course they have several packages available including key rings at various prices. We paid 9.99 plus tax for our pix at Splash Mtn.

After they take your picture they'll give you a piece of paper w/a number on it.

Except that I always lose the piece of paper! Never fails.

We bought the poster size of TOT and it is excellent. They laminate them right there. I just wish they would turn everyone you don't want into a ghostly figure.

Just to set the record straight:

Splash Photos: 5x7or 4 wallets- 12.95 (13.80 w/tax),
8x10- 16.95 (18.06 w/ tax)
5x7 & wallets- 16.95 (18.06)
poster-22.95 (24.45)
each addt'l pic is cheaper-9.95 for a 2nd 5x7, 12.95 for a 2nd 8x10, 19.95 for a 2nd poster.

The other ride photo shops are similar- except that they don't have a 5x7 option- so you either get a 5x7 & wallets or a 8x10 for 16.95, but the same addt'l prices apply.

Hint that isn't advertised usually- if you buy any photo in the park on the same day in the same park- each addt'l photo no matter where it is is the cheaper price. Ex-buy a pic at Judge's tent for regular price and get Splash 5x7 for 9.95. Just remeber to keep your reciept and let the CM know BEFORE they ring you up!!

And tell everyone at Splash Photos I said hi!!:wave2:
