We are in Phoenix, so about a 6 hour drive. This is our first year with APs and we have been 3 times already, and have 2 more trips planned, but I am thinking we will squeeze in one last trip before they expire in January.

We're in WA, and you can see my sig. We drove once, but it was a big long trip for my HS reunion and visiting my dad etc, so we did need the car. We don't do the drive in one, or even two, days, not anymore (both of us did FAST car trips to CA in our 20s, separately, and we're over that). So it's been the plane all but that once.

I'm considering the train for the future, but it's costly and takes quite a bit of time.

We have Deluxe APs that are about to expire. We live 8 hours away. Even if you only go every summer, APs can be worth it. We've been three times during the year we had our APs. The first was last July for 3 days. Then we went back on Jan.1 and 2 just to see the Christmas decorations before they went down. Our third time was the end of this June for a week. Our plan is to wait until next summer to get APs again.

It sure has pulled me to want to go more often, but when it is a day's drive down and another day back, it makes weekend trip too hard to do.

Since we moved back to CA, and got our AP's in April (premium for me, deluxe for everyone else) we are averaging twice a month. we live about 2 hours away (plus traffic) in ventura.
Hopefully, once school starts, we can still do one "grab the kids and go the minute the school bell rings" afternoon trips.

We live in the bay area (northern California), it's about a 5-6 hour drive. Last year we managed to get in three 1 week visits. All in all we were in the parks for a total of 15 days.

Our first time with AP's we had Deluxe's, we had them from July 07-July 08 and we went 14 times. This year we have Premiums (due to so many planned visits over blacked out weekends) and we've been 8 times already.
We live 6 hours away driving, we don't fly, with 4 in the family it's much cheaper to drive.

We live....well, I don't know how far away we live. Maybe a 10-hour drive? But we rarely drive down--we prefer to fly and can usually get good rates on SW. I love that they are so flexible and allow you to change things around without a penalty.

We got APs last October. Dh, the kids and I went in Oct and are going again next week. The kids and I also went in Feb. But I have managed to also work in a Nov, Jan, and July trip without dh or the kids (the little ones, that is! I like to go with my adult dd). So...2 for dh, 3 for the kids, and 6 for me! Not sure what I'll do after next week's trip. I'm hoping they'll extend the Costco ap deal again so I can go in Nov. I know I can buy the voucher now but it has to be activated by Oct 31 and I just can't get to DL in Oct.

We usually go about 4-5 times a year. I started out with a Deluxe and upgraded to Premium. Jasmine my girlfriend started with premium and she goes a couple of times more.

We Just got our Premiums Passes in June, and been there 6 days (3 days in June, 3 days in July). We live down here in San Diego, about 1 1/2 hour Drive.

Currently live about 2 hours away. Haven't gone as much as I'd like this year. Usually we like to go at least a dozen times. We don't do Saturdays. We try for a few hours on a friday night or sunday day if the weather is cool enough. I hate the heat and don't do well in it because I'm pale and I SWEAT! LOL.

I love this thread! It makes me feel normal My DH thinks we go the most out of anyone....which is so not true. We are 6-7 hours away and go about 3 times a year 4 days each. We may squeeze in another trip this year but it looks like many people go much more than us.

DD and I have deleux Aps. We live about 45 minutes away. We average about 2 times a month - for day trips only. We do spend one weekend a year there for the TOT party. It makes it more special for dd when we stay overnight there plus then I am not driving home tired.

We would go more but I try to avoid it in the summer as much as possible.

I love the Halloween time and Christmas decorations so those are probably the months we frequent DL the most.

Shh... I will say that I try to go for a day here and there while dd is in school. That way I get to ride the rides I like (the ones she does not).

I live about 500 miles up north in Chico. I have a Premium AP and fly down about 4 times a year, 3-4 days each trip. Not enough for me but that's the best I can do living this far away!

We live in Mesa, AZ. We usually fly unless SO goes with us, then he drives. DD and I got AP's when we went for 5 days last December(actually got 5 day passes with 2 early entry days, then upgraded to AP's). We went for 3 days in April and we are going for 4 days in October. Wanted to go for my birthday in November (50th...yikes) but it's on a Monday and DD has school. So instead, SO, who is not the biggest Disney fan (but I love him anyway, lol) is taking me to Vegas .

Not sure if we are renewing as DD wants to go to Disney World for vacation next year. We've watched too many Disney Parks planning videos, lol! She wants to see Epcot and the Animal Kingdom. We will have to wait and see if that is in the budget, lol!
