For those willing to share - how much did you pay for your package?

I'm just curious how it all works out in the end with discounts, codes, free dining etc. This might be helpful to others just beginning to plan vacations as well.

Extra space is always good! I hope you get your discount too! Seems like their was a great deal last year, but I guess we'll all have to wait and see!

I searched the resort forum and found we can get a roll away at a deluxe resort which would give us two beds, the day bed, and the roll away...since DH and I can be in and out of the water in 2 minutes or less, that leaves plenty of hot water for the 13 year old DD's and the 14 year old DS...right? Maybe we COULD go deluxe (can you hear the gears a'grinding!)??:confused3 EEK! Can't wait for those discounts! (Might even consider an annual pass just for the discount/and only having to buy 4 park hoppers)
I also forgot to add the $350 Goofy Marathon registration fee for my DH!:headache:
I wonder how many poptarts I can fit in my suitcase.....

Thanks again for making me think! :thumbsup2

Why not:

Resort: WL, Courtyard view (for reasons to come)
Number of People: 4 (two adults, two kids (8 and 4))
Length: 7 nights (11/9-16)
Dining: Regular dining plan
Discounts: 40% room PIN (could only be used on the courtyard rooms)
Park Tix: 8 day hoppers
DME: Yes
Airfare: Not included

Total: $3,551.34

MVMCP: To come (cost is ~$240)

FD isn't available for our dates. However, when I priced it out with standard view room, without dining and without the 40% code, the difference was less than $10.

Dining: Deluxe Dining (upgraded from free standard dining)
Discounts: Free dining + 40% discount on rooms at SSR + discount on park tickets

How did you combine free dining and a room discount? Is it a British thing? My travel agent said that we could not combine two discounts. Could she have been trying to keep her commission higher?

OK - for 2 people....

Bonnet Creek - 7 days 1BR condo with full kitchen and jacuzzi. Lazy river and several pools on site - right across the street from Epcot $175 (military offer)
4 Day PH $250 for two (another military deal)
Airfare (free - miles)

Food - we can cook what we want BUT we'll eat out most of the time. Look up Bonnet Creek and see how luxurious this place really is. Military discounts make it cheaper. BC has reasonably good transportation too.
