For those who've stayed in both Deluxe and value

Linda now you are talking. The grand villa at BWI!!!!! I always travel with a 4 cup percolater because I don't know what that brown water that comes out of the food court dispenser is but it doesn't resemble anything this java queen recognizes anyway. Coffee my .... Also I always travel with my Homedics waterfall/with relaxing sounds. Like rain,thunderstorms, buhddist bells, etc. It drowns out outside noise nicely. I love the idea of breakfast in the room but DS has some great breakfasts in mind. I think half the reason we need to stay value is because of our dining choices. We both rate it as half the experience at least. I finally have someone as motivated as I am to head to the poly,akl, or contemporary grounds for decent am coffee!
We are staying sun through thurs so perhaps a dvc point rental may work for us, but DH and DB really want the dining plan so that is looking less likely. I really am grateful for you all sharing your thoughts and experiences. POP is sounding better all the time. Thanks again.

I think Pop seems so cool. I am a deluxe kind of girl too but I really want to stay at Pop. My sister and I took a girls only trip last December and I surprised her with the GF. I don't regret it at all but we really didn't spend very much time in the room We were total park commandos. We are planning on going again this Christmas and we were talking about staying at Pop.

If you really are planning just to sleep in your room then I think going with a value is a great idea.
