For those who've done MK on July 4th....

...did you ever go IN after the Fworks when everyone else is leaving??? Our Ohana PS is at 6 and we plan to watch from the Poly somewhere. Thought maybe we could go over for a ride or two before bed.

This is also a Friday - which is usually their eride night. They wouldn't have erides if they close at midnight, would they???

How difficult is it to get into a park that everyone else is leaving?

I think it would be difficult to swim through a sea of people who are all exiting. They will not have the e-night on the holiday. It is very crowded on July 4th during the fireworks. They also check ID's on the Poly beach, so I think you might have difficulty viewing from there.

Your plan matches our 2002 4th of July. We did the 6pm PS at O'Hanas, the server suggested we watch from the beach. No ID's were checked. We were respectful, didn't steal chairs or towels. We just relaxed in the grass. Then after the fireworks we hopped on the monorail and went to the MK. The were routing the incomming and outgoing seperately. We got to see behind the scenes-the back side of buildings, etc. We stayed backstage till the Tomorrowland stage. We did small world, presidents, spectro (10), and the train. We left before the midnight spectro, but the park was open till 1AM i believe. Good luck! Ren
