For Those Who Remember Jenroc...

There was to be a small group trip from the singles thread that Jenroc and I had started to plan over a year ago. Unfortunately, she passed away suddenly almost 4 months ago. With the economy, most of the group backed out. I decided to go ahead with the plans... then another set back with my mom. Good news happened there... and 2 weeks ago, I confirmed the trip.

I did what Jen and I planned due to my wild hair... 2 Kingdoms 1 Day!!!!
(I had gotten this idea actually from someone's blog that was out visiting WDW and flew home to California. Jenroc thought I was mad but loved the idea... and couldn't wait to go. And she was always trying to get others to come along.)

I was able to go into the Magic Kingdom at WDW, fly out to California and spend an hour in the Disneyland park in the same day. I walked in under the train station and into Town Square when the fireworks started. I had forgotten all about them even going off. It was a Godwink for sure... Almost as if Jenroc was there with me. I rode both Pirates and the Haunted Masion in both parks also in the same day. Had hoped to do more but time didn't allow it.

Sha, it's so sad to hear about Jenroc. I am very happy that you were able to complete the trip. Two Kingdoms in one day is pretty wild!

Yes... it is a bit wild! I have my last day here today, and I am waiting to do my flight seating confirmation before I head out.

Wow, what a great experience! Those would have been the 2 rides I would have chosen for each park as well. I'm sorry you didn't get to do it with your friend but I bet she was there with you in spirit.

I hope to have a trip report and post the pictures I took. Am going to work on them since I was greeted with a car accident when I came home. I found where Jen's brick will most likely be at also.

thanks Terri01p.... was a good trip. The return home had its issues but that will get better. I have no doubt that Jen was with me.

No... not at WDW. This is out at DL where she went to first and where she went for the POTC 3 premier.
