For those who routinely check their reservation on-line, what's the earliest anyone has noticed a room upgrade? Just a couple of weeks before sailing?

We recieved a resourt upgrade and they called to ask if it was o.k. with us first.

We are crusing on the 9/20/03 cruise, and I got upgraded in November 2002 from a SPH (cat 10) to a cat 8 on deck 7! We booked in May 2002.Still hoping to upgrade at the Port, but I can't complain!

here's a stupid question, but how do you check your ressie online? is it at the official DCL site? thanks...

and must it be a reservation made through DCL? I tried to log on the other day and it said my reservation # was not valid (booked through DVC)

Wow!!! Sorry, but I haven't thought of Johnnie Fedora and Alice Blue-Bonnet for a while! I used to have a record/book with them in it and loved it!! So where's Alice?:p

natt and danjulia....in answer to your question.....yes, I do believe you have to book thru DCL in order to access the ressie online at their website, but I am not 100% positive. The reason I think this is because we have friends who booked through Cruises Only and they were not able to view their ressie online, but I was and I booked through DCL for the same cruise.

To view your ressie you would go to www.disneycruise.com

Then click on the suitcase icon in the upper right corner. Click on Check my Reservation. You must actually register at the site and then you follow the prompts by putting in your DCL ressie number and the phone number you supplied when making the ressie.

My Alice is here with me. I had a hard time finding a "Johnnie" picture to use in my signature. There's not a lot of Make Mine Music stuff to be found, which is sad....it's my favorite Disney cartoon.

I tried this and it didn't work for me. I booked w/a TA. I was hoping that since the TA's go through DCL directly to make the reservations, that we could use that # as well to look them up online. No such luck. In fact now that I think of it, Even on WDW resort reservations, I have booked them myself and tried to use that res# and it said it will only work IF you made the reservations ONLINE! What a bummer!!;)

Yes, I believe that would be the problem. The only way it might work is if you asked the TA for the DCL ressie number and not the ressie # used by the travel agent (they are usually different numbers). I do not know if the TA would give that number to you or not. All my ressie numbers started with a 2 and were about 8 digits long when I booked directly thru DCL.

Mine also starts w/a 2 and is 8 digits long. hmmm..oh well, i really don't need to check on it. I was just curious ;)

I know the DCL # is always 2@@@@@@@ , 8 Digits, but the pnone numbers also has to be just so. It has to be input exactly the way the TA or DCL put it into the system. Im always trying different combos to see if I can check it. IE. 905-256-4367, or 905 256-4367. Both have to be correct and exact in order to check the ressie.

thats what i was wondering about. My cell phone always pops up, this is what i used when registering w/Disney online. So I tried my home phone next. They wouldn't put in THEIR work # would they?

4u2dream, Did you ever get yours pulled up??

I have tried with my phone number, many different combinations with no success. Maybe the TA uses their Phone number. We booked thru Dreams Unlimited, Does anyone know if this is the case?
