We stayed at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort last March. It was absolutely wonderful. We could get to DL and CA in about 20 minutes. The campground is very clean, nice pool, bathrooms, laundry room and store. We didn't eat at the cafe so can't comment on that. Our girls loved roller blading on the path around the bay and the craft activites on Sat and Sun.

You're a few minutes from Newport Beach, we had a great time there even if it was a bit chilly. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to camp in the Anaheim area.

<font color=navy>Thanks for the report, Wendy. I remember tent camping in that area in the early 70's. :)
