I am trying to plan a trip to see this show...what seats should I avoid??

I have found a couple of dates that have seats right up front...will it be hard to see what is going on on the rooftop??

There are no seats available for any of the dates I am looking at for the front Mez section, so that is out.

Help!

Hubby booked 6th row. I was hoping a little further back for the ending.

I would hope that such a successful show would choreograph the roof scenes so that we all could see.

We are hitting the matinee on April 10th and I'll be able to know if his choice was a good one or a bad one.:cool1:

We saw it last June in NYC. DH and I were in the very first row on the right hand orchestra side- AVOID that row on both sides if you want to feel your legs at all after the first 30 minutes lol! Our knees were jammed up tight against the stage wall, even when we tried to turn on an angle! :headache:

On the plus side, however, we had no problems with any view so the rooftop scenes I thought were absolutely fine. :thumbsup2

We sat in the center of the 12th row and they were perfect seats! I really don't think you're going to have a problem seeing anywhere in the theater though. Enjoy the show! It's great!

I don't like to be in the first few rows just because I feel like I have to be looking up, but the rooftop scenes shouldn't be a problem as, if I am remembering correctly from last Friday when we saw MP, the scenes on the roof are mostly on the stage level, the set looks like the roof of the house. It's a great show, we loved it!

I just saw that this show is coming to South Florida in June- I am so excited! I can't wait to see it. :cool1:

We go to Broadway shows often and normally I like to sit in the Orchestra, however Maty Poppinss is the one show where I prefer the Mezzanine. I can't fully explain why without giving away a great surprise, however you won't go wrong with seats in the first couple of rows of the Mezzanine on the right side. That would be my choice of seats for this show, which is FANTASTIC, BTW. Enjoy!

Thanks...I think I know what you are referring to, as I have researched this show for a while. Unfortunately, Mez tickets are not available for the dates I need, that is why I need to find out what orchestra seats are good.

Front orchestra seats are available, which makes me a little wary of them. That's why I wanted to find out if you could see from these seats.

We were in the 2nd row left side Orchestra and I would not recommend it. We were so close we felt like we were part of the show!:lmao: We could see the microphones stuck in their hair/hats. For this show the middle Orchestra further back would be good, but I think the mezzanine would be great!(right side ;))

I have not seen it in NYC, but I did see it here. We had front row balcony, and those seats were perfect!!! As a pp said, I will not say why, but they were!

Thank you for the posts...I do really appreciate them...but Mezzanine tickets are NOT available, even though I know these are the best seats for this show.

Thank you to the poster a couple back who sat 2nd row...were you able to view all the schenes??
