a question. When you provided your billing address online, was the grocery bill then sent to that address, or did they simply bill you when the delivery was made (ie when the groceries were delivered to your hotel?)

I am trying to "get around" the non-delivery to Canadians thing, and I am wondering if I can provide a friend's 'billing address', but simply have them bill us at the hotel for the actual groceries?

Thanks to anyone who can help here...I'll definitely need another suitcase if we can't order groceries!

We used a credit card. So, could you use your U.S. friend's address, ask your friend to supply their credit card number, and reimburse your friend right away with a check or cash or whatever?

Unfortunetly if you are Canadian they will not accept your billing address for your groceries. I got that info from this board, I tried both Von's and Albertson's and they will not accept a Canadian adrdress. If you do have a friend in the states who will place the order, no problem, but a CC with a Canadian billing address does not work, I called.

Sorry:confused:

I used the hotel address as the billing address, and paid by CC when I ordered the groceries. I figured that the only potential problem would be if my CC company queried it, and I had told them I was going to the US so crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.

I think there was a delivery slip with the groceries, but otherwise no paperwork.

Hope that helps,
Mel

I tried this again just now with the hotel address and it came up that there was an address verification error on the CC. I think you would have to se your friends CC and pay them back. The store itself is about 5 min away from Disneyland and you could probably go there, get your groceries, and be back in less time then staying in your room waiting for the delivery truck.

Hope this helps.
