For those who have driven from Niagara

WE will be driving from Niagara to Orlando in August. We are leaving very early on our way down and driving to Georgia. We want to get the majority of our driving done the first day.

My question is our return trip. Where do you usually stop on your way home? I think I need a suites hotel because there are 5 of us but I don't want to break the bank. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.IM NOT GOING TO HELP MUCH, JUST WANTED TO SAY WE USED TO DRIVE FROM HERE . LEAVE AROUND 7am DRIVE AS FAR AS I COULD GO. IT WOULD TAKE US 20 HOURS OF STRAIGHT DRIVING. COMING HOME WE HAD 2 WAYS WE COULD GO. BACK UP 79 OR STRAIGHT UP 95 TO FREDRICKSBURG UP TO HARRISBURG AND BACK UP THRU CORNING. IT ALL DEPENDED ON WHEN WE LEFT DISNEY. WE USUALLY FLY NOW OUT OF BUFFALO.

Can you go on mapquest & figure out maybe where you want to make it to 1/2 way & then do a hotel search for a place with suites. We just always drove until we wanted to stop & then found a hotel, but we never needed one for 5 people.

If you can make it as far as Morgantown, PA, you're sitting very well with only 6 hours to the border after that.
Either that or if you're following I-77 to Highway 19 to I-79, there are several motels along there that will meet your needs. Just google it around Mount Hope, West Virginia. They have a Holiday Inn and a Hampton Inn there.
