For those who have done Disney financing on SSR

what range is your interest rate in?
We got 9.25% or something like that before but its higher this time.
now we only bought 50 pts...is this why? if we had done MB would we get lower interest rate?

The lowest rate you can get now is 9.75%, but based on recent posts you now need to put 20% down to get that rate. Magical Beginnings doesn't have any impact on the interest rate

We did SSR but we took out our own loan. The rates are much cheaper than what Disney is offering.

I just bought in today....it was 9.75% interest. I put down a bit over 20%.

My theory was that I would just let Disney carry it until closing which is coming up soon. I plan to pay it off with a lower cost souce after closing.

i bought two contracts at SSR, one for 150 and another for 100 and both are 10% down, 9.75% if you do the monthly withdrawal from your checking/savings account.

Magical beginnings money is applied to your down payment, so it can affect your interest rate.

We put 10% cash down on 200 points. That plus the $2000 magical beginnings money meant we hadthe 20% down to qualify for 9.75%.

all is good. I talked with DVC today and they made a mistake. We will be getting the 9.75% and new paperwork to sign.
oh and if anyone was wondering...buying only 50 pts didn't matter regarding the interest rate.
