I love the new DVC bag, but have never paid anywhere close to that price for a handbag. I really want it, but I can have a hard time spending $25 on something I don't need. If you have one, is it good quality? They are charging an extra $100 just to have the DVC stuff on it, and would I get bored with a bag looking like that? Decisions, decisions decisions.

I love my Dooney Bags. They are of great quality and many times, I have been able to sell and recoup a good deal of the cost to buy another one. Especially when I got them on sale and with a discount!

i really want one of the new ones, but just bought a new one, so not till spring!

i bought the previous DVC design a few months ago on sale. Love the new designs but not going to buy another anytime soon. Love I got mine on such a big sale and love the quality.

They have a numbered ticket inside, you register your bag on their website. Any issues with quality, you can contact them. I purchased one on my last vacation, a tote. More than I've ever paid for a bag too, but I love it, and it is great quality...and I got 20% dvc discount off at the store in Disney Springs. I'm not usually an impulse buyer either.

As others have said the bags are very good quality. Yes they are expensive but very nice bags. I have several Dooney bags, all sizes of the DVC bag that is
white with light green and blue and I just bought one of the last DVC member bag when it was on sale. It was such a good price I just couldn't pass it up. I think I'm going to pass on this bag, how many expensive bags do I really need? Trying very hard not to get sucked in. ;)

I used to own a ton of them in the 90's, they were always really good quality, I stopped using them as much when I got more into Vera Bradley. I really like the DVC ones though, I am considering it. I prefer crossbodys though and the newest style is only a satchel and a tote.

Chalk me up as someone who probably will never spend a dime on a D&B bag/purse/coinpurse/etc. I'm not of fan of their designs. Must be because I am old and cheap.

The leather ones are of exceptional quality, my wife’s everyday one has been in use for almost 30 years now. She has had a fabric Disney one for only a year now and so far it is holding up.

I bought the Snow White one a few years ago when it came out. I'm not usually name brand person, although I do love Kate Spade bags. Name brand or not, it's usually about the price tag for me. As OP stated, I too have a hard time spending a lot $$ on things I don't really need (although it is fun sometimes :))

That being said, I fell in love with that D&B Snow White bag and love it just as much now. It just looks like a piece of Disney art to me. I use it very often.

Honest opinion of D&B leather bags....very well made, wear very well also. But I find them heavy. Even empty, it's a heavy bag, that's the trade off for the leather and for the hardware on a very well made bag I suppose.

I bought it on sale, with a DVC discount on top of it, so it wasn't outrageously expensive, as some name brand bags can be. I haven't purchased a DVC themed bag, in any brand at all, yet anyway. I haven't found one I really like yet.

If you really like the one you're looking into, you will get a lot of use out of it because it will definitely last. Good luck with your decision and have fun shopping!

I adore my Dooney & Bourke Disney bags. They are excellent quality and really last. I have had cheaper Loungefly Disney bags before, and they are of significantly lower quality. The straps on one didn't last more than a couple of months. I prefer to spend more and get a bag that is well-made.

I now have a satchel, a cross-body, cosmetic bags, a wristlet, and a backpack. I LOVE them all.

I buy the patterns I like, and if I find out I have missed out, eBay 🙄 I have 4 Disney D&B bags plus some everyday D&B and Coach. The bags hold up to daily commuting, shopping and life. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

My wife has loved her D & B Mickey bag and it has held up very well. She has just a few bags to include the DB, a Michael Kors and Coach. The Coach bag has been the only one to not hold up as well.

I bought a 'shopping tote' in the brown sketch pattern for Mothers day 2012. I have carried it as my work briefcase ever since, and it still looks great! I used to spend $40-$80 on a new briefcase every year or two (I'm pretty rough on them), so I have actually saved a lot of money by buying it!

Along with disney, I have a thing for nice jewely, shoes & handbags. It’s a want, not a need, I can stop anytime I want to hahahaha

Have my share of VB and a handful of D&B, two disney themed (haunted mansion & the sea life pattern (love they included rarer ones, ala the walrus from Alice :)). Discoved the Coach poison apple line recently too, love their credit card holder.

The majority of D&B aren’t festooned with disney characters or theming. I do wish I could find a DVC themed one I’d want to carry. Just hasn’t happened, yet.

That’s why you have several different ones, to switch them out & keep it fresh
I own at least 15 D&Bs at least 4 of which are WDW ones and I love them. I've had no problems with any of them, they are expensive but you get what you pay for.
They certainly do wear well and I’d like to think their registration/warranty would pay off.
