...WDW is offering a 'special' for vacastions booked between Aug 13 and Sept 30 - 'free dining' is included when you book a package for room/PH passes. The 'free dining' is: (1) counter-service meal, (1) sit-down meal, and (1) snack per person per day....

Also, you have to reserve the package by June 4th. You can check it out and get a quote on the disneyworld website.

We can book rooms using points and get the dining plan ($37.99 adults &
$ kids). My guess the poster is paying $440 per night in a 1 bedroom.

This seems to be a great deal that even as a DVC member I may have take an extra trip paying cash & not using points.

After reading through this post, I decided to price out my trip with free dining. We are staying August 18 - September 1 - 8 nights in the YC (water view) and 6 at the Poly (LVC). Because of the length of the trip, I had to do 2 packages.

With free dining, the vacation came out to $11,420!!! That's actually more expensive than my estimated budget without the free dining. Did I do something wrong?

I did this last year! I was there in April and they announced the free dining for Sept/Oct. I stayed in POP for cash for 5 days and we had a ball eating out way through "the world"! It was a birthday bonus

Another DVC member here who is booked ar AKL in August on cash. Never been there and am looking forward to the pool and the food !

We are booked at POR for 7n/8d from Sept 23rd through the 30th with 1 day base tickets for two adults. Total no trip insurance is $1,221.22.
