Am I going to have to wait forever in line for Milennium Force?
We're thinking of a quick trip up there in 2 weeks...we'd be there on a Tuesday.
Is 1 day going to be enough?
TY :D

You'll probably have anywhere from an hour to 2+ hour wait for MF (best bet is to go to it first). And 1 day probably won't be enough if you want to go on all the major rides, plus other stuff.

I have been to Cedar Point only once. I went last summer during the last week in July. I can not remember what day I went, but it was either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. We did Millenium Force first thing as soon as we got there. We waited about 2 hours to ride this. (By the way it was worth it ;) ) We did:

Blue Streak
Cedar Creek Mine Ride
Cedar Point and Lake Erie Railroad
Disaster Transport
Gemini
Iron Dragon
Magnum XL-200
Mean Streak
White Water Landing

There was soooooo much that we didn't get to ride, and we didn't see any of the shows. I would love to go back and have more time to spend there. I think you should plan on more than 1 day, or at least get the starlight ticket, which allows you to enter after 5:00pm the night before your ticket.

Kim - You can get the equivalent of a Fast Pass for the Millennium Force. You get a hand stamp that tells you when to return so you don't have to wait in line so long. Just make sure to get the hand stamp (at the ride) early in the day. They go quickly. They also have the hand stamp at the Wicked Twister, but I don't know if you can have two handstamps at a time, even if they are for separate rides.

If you are staying at one of the CP hotels, you can get early entry (30 minutes before the general public) into the park. This can be a real benefit if you want to get on the Millennium Force ride first thing.

The lines at Cedar Point tend to get shorter near the end of the day. This is another benefit of staying until closing time. When we were there earlier this season, there was only a 15 minute wait for Wicked Twister near closing time.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity for another CP DISmeet!!!

We went over Memorial Day weekend and BOY was that great. The parks were even hardly crowded. We did stay onsite at Breakers so we rode MF first thing and I rode it twice...
I wish I would have waited in line the day before and rode it or rode it at night too...IT was worth it!!!
BTW we WALKED onto most of the other rides or the lines were not that bad at all for most other things, except Magnum, Wicked Twister & Raptor.

Have FUN!!!!

Hi Kim,

We have season passes and went on our 4-5 ? visit this passed Sunday. Crowds were horrible!!!

BUT....I talked to one of the college kids that work there and he said Fri-Mon are the worst. (Much like MK!!)

You're going on a Tue. so you should be fine. Plus lots of schools will be back in session around here by then.

We hardly ever wait in "off season"

Have a great time!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

WE were just up there August first. I'd say we waited no more than 30 min for any ride. as day went on the lines for the coasters got onger but other than that it was easier.

We go every year the Friday before labor day (Kids don't have school, Mich Law). It seem that everyone is from MI or PA. The line for millenium force seems to average 1 to 2 hour all Day. The rest of the rides are walk ups to 15 min wait. Haven't been on wicked twister yet, can't wait. We leave Sat. morning, have know Idea what lines are like then :bounce: :bounce:

Schools in Ohio mostly open the last week of August so if that is when you are planning your trip you may be in luck with lighter crowds. Head to the Millenium First Thing and the lines should be shorter. Also most of the shows will be dark by the last week of August (college kids all back to school).

Have a great trip!
