For those who enjoy gaming FastPass+ with extra Magic Bands

My best guess would be the latter.

Nah, pats on the back for being a "good Person" don't excite me. Annoying the self-righteous on the other hand...

Hmmm, who's self-righteous?

I'm done taking the bait. Enjoy your pot stirring. :stir:

Using Fp+ was complicated enough on its own. No desire to push it any further with extra bands. Though this may explain my sister asking about borrowing my band on her next trip?

Hmmm ... I think you need to take a good look in the mirror before saying someone else is "self-righteous".

According to Merriam Webster:
self–righ·teous

having or showing a strong belief that your own actions, opinions, etc., are right and other people's are wrong

Right. Cause you're not self righteous. You're just a better person.

'Zactly. Trying to manage FP for 7 is enough of a PITA. Imagine if they all had 2-3 bands to keep up with? :badpc:

And at the end of the day what are they getting? Are people really grabbing handfuls of SDFP for headliners on their extra bands or are they getting FP for Stitch?

Charging $100 a day for a 3 year old to enter an amusement park is unethical. Getting extra perks when a system allows it, is not.

Just remember when your child is arrested that you taught him from the time he was three that the rules don't apply to your family. It is unethical. It isn't an "extra perk," it is cheating, taking advantage, and dishonest. Justify it to yourself all you want, but don't go crying when you realize what you have taught your child.

So, people are horrible parents and their kids are going to jail because they get same day fastpasses :faint:. Next thing you know SDFPs will make kittens cry!

I'm always surprised the time people waste worrying about what everyone else is doing. You might report a rude CM or a safety hazard but to go running to complain to Disney about what other guests are doing?:confused3

I have to agree. If someone else gets an extra same day FP, or 10, I really don't care. It's an awful lot of trouble to go to, and I can't imagine that it's really having much of an impact.

Yeah, it's kind of a stretch .... :rotfl2:

At MK I would get a FP+ for:

7DMT
A&E (if desired)
BTMM
Splash
Space
Haunted Mansion
Pirates
Jungle Cruise
Enchanted Tales
Buzz

I wouldn't start the day till 10 or 11 and still be "done" by 3 or 4, that would be perfect. Especially since you could overlap return windows and not have to kill time.

At DHS & Epcot multiple bands would get rid of tiers too. Could you imagine how leisurely touring would be, no matter the crowd level? THAT would be a vacation!

I'm not advocating it (and I certainly didn't in October) but I can see why people would.

If they gave me the option to pay for unlimited FP+ I'd be all over it, no questions asked (and it could be expensive too, like +$150/ticket/day). Just the amount of time saved waiting in standby, and the ability to sleep in EVERY day, totally 100% worth it to me.

True. But it seems as if the situation here is binary. The people who use extra MBs to obtain more FP+s than their admission price entitles them to are either "right" or they are "wrong". So one of two things must be true:

A. Either the OP is "right" and the people who obtain additional FP+s are "wrong"; or

B. The OP is "wrong" and the people who obtain additional FP+s are "right".

And if this is the case, then only one side of this debate can be self-righteous. Either the OP is wrong, but thinks he is right, making him self-righteous; or the people who obtain additional FP+s are wrong, but think that they are right, making them self-righteous. Both sides of the argument cannot be self-righteous, because one side believes that they are right when really they aren't, and the other side believes that they are right, and in fact, they actually are. The former is self-righteous by definition and the latter are not. They are merely "right".

Example:
Joe insists that George Washington was the first president of the United States.
Fred insists that John Adams was the first president of the United States.
Both insist that the other is wrong.
Joe is not self-righteous. He is merely right.

So pick a side. The OP is only self-righteous if the people who use extra MBs to obtain additional FP+s beyond the three to which their admission fee entitles them are actually right in doing what they are doing. But if you believe that people who do this are actually wrong, then the OP cannot be, by definition, self-righteous. You might not appreciate the tone or the fact that they wrote the letter. But those things do not fit the definition of self-righteousness.

Yeah .... It doesn't work that way. You're not going to be able to get A&E or 7DMT or TSMM or Soarin with an unlinked MB that only gets same day FPs. You can however get Stitch, Laugh Floor, Dumbo etc..... I personally wouldn't go to the trouble but for those who want to, I could care less.

Are you saying you would or you could? I can't imagine there are a bunch of SDFP for 7DMT or A&E getting scooped up by guests with extra bands. Maybe, just doesn't seem likely :confused3

They do sell unlimited FP via the VIP Tour.
