This is a question to those guests who eat at counter service locations in the parks for lunch. I was wondering what times do you like to eat? My parents and I like to go just past 11:00 AM because we figure it's a nice time to take a break and we like to eat before 12:00 PM when more guests would start to line up and etc.

We are early eaters as well. We like to eat right after a CS restarurant opens. I also like having a large choice of tables to eat at. For example when we go to Columbia Harbor House, we like window seats in the second floor.

Another plus for eating early lunch is if are eating CS for dinner as well and you can eat early dinner, also avoiding large crowds.

We are "early" people as well. Early to the parks, early to eat lunch in the parks and early to eat TS dinners (early to bed, too  ). There is a HUGE difference in CS crowd levels between when they first open and going during "lunch time" (aka Noon).

Usually I'm a late eater, around 2 or 3, but since DBf and are doing the dining plan next year, I'm sure we'll be early eaters and since we aren't big on breakfast, it will work out for us.

Thats a tough one...depends on what and when we have breakfast. CS breakfast we usually get hungry for lunch around noon. TS buffet breakfast we usually skip lunch or have a very late one like around 2

We try to be there around 11:00 - 11:30, but sometimes that just doesn't work. For example, we showed up a Columbia Harbor House at 12:30 two weeks ago. :scared1: We just couldn't help it. BUT, we were through the long line and had our lunch in about 15 minutes. Not bad for handling the crowds, I'd say!

Ditto on the 11:00 lunch time. Nothing like it for beating the crowds.

We eat lunch later, but then we usually have late dining reservations. DH & I live in CST, so one hour makes a difference for us. We aren't ready for 1000 lunch.

I believe a lot of people are ready for lunch break around 1100. It seems to me that restaurants are busy then too:confused3 . So it really depends on your "tummy" and your "legs" so everyone is comfortable.

It depends on what time we get up that morning. Typically, we'll eat around 11am. If we get up late that day, we'll eat lunch around 2pm. We try to never eat when it's busy.

11. By that time we have been up since before 6am for rope drop. We just eat a really light breakfast, if at all.

We tend to eat dinner late, so at 6am we just aren't hungry yet :)

Another 11:00'er here. I've been known to stand at the cash registers (in line-I'm not the only one!) waiting for them to open.

We are usually late eaters. We do like to start our day with breakfast so we're not hungry until 1:00-2:00 pm then we have a late dinner (~7:00 pm) We love it because it allows us to get in a lot of TS restaurants without being chained to ADR's, we love to wing it on vacation.

More early eaters here! Since we get to the parks when they open, by 11 am we are starving. So we usually have an early CS lunch or a late (10:30)TS breakfast.

We were up at about 7AM most days, and the kids just had donuts or cereal bars, and we had 5:30 ADRs most nights, so 11 worked well for timing, plus we were able to avoid most of the lunch crowd...we avoided lines & crowds whenever we could! I did notice that if we pushed it to nearer to 11:30, the lines were beginning to form.

I figure the less I wait in line, the more I get done at the parks!
