How do you get something in a shopping spree? I just tried to get a BK gift certificate that had 75 available and couldn't get one. I was on before it started hitting refresh every few seconds. Hit buy as soon as it came on and kept getting a another member is attempting to purchase this item message. So I was never able to buy it. Has anyone actually gotten anything from this site or is it a waste of time?

It is very difficult to redeem during the shopping spree. I have attempted to redeem approximately 10-15 times and been successful only once. If you look at the auctions, you will see that many of them are in the millions, therefore, you know a lot of people have a lot of points that they haven't been able to use.

On the bright side, the one time I did win, the prize came in about a week, which pleasantly surprised me.

I've been pretty successful. It helps if you're not on "dial up". Just keep trying.

I used to do pretty well. I have broadband so that probably helps. I'm a teacher so I can only try during the summer. I wish they'd have a few during later hours.

I finally gave up on trying to get prizes that way. I haven't been on the site for a while but I "bought" tv guide. I was able to buy that directly using my points and I didn't have to fight for a prize the other way.

I have won a few things from it. I don't refresh, I just keep going back in and out. You have to be able to hit it as soon as it comes up. They do go very, very fast. I just tried to get the BK also and they were gone right away. Just keep trying. And if you have dial up forget it, you won't win.
