For those who cruised New Year's Eve

We are cruising on the Magic's special (Tues-Tues) cruise this year. We will be in Grand Cayman on NYE and this is typically a "casual" night in the dining room. We typically dress up (tux and gowns) for the formal / semi-formal nights and have interest in going to Palo on NYE (two couples booked w/REAS package so we can hopefully get our wish). Do you think they'll adjust the formal night to match up w/Cayman? Since it's the earliest departure port (4:30 all aboard) there is time to make it a "formal" occasion.

Just curious if you did cruise over NYE if they made adjustments to the dress code/dining rotation to better match up with this evening?

Yes they do adjust the "dress code" for NYE...NYE is a formal night. Have fun. We did it this past year and it was a blast.

We did the 12-27-03 NYE cruise too, it was unbelievable.
One big party.

Yes, they do - we cruised NYE 12-28-2002 7n eastern on the Magic and most everyone was in Tuxedos and gowns!

We still talk about sipping champange dancing under the stars to Frank Sinatra singing Summer Wind!
