Did you see any of the rarer characters out?

I've read through the MVMCP thread & there was very little mentioned about characters.

We saw a place by the castle where Belle and Beast and Snow White and her prince were rotating. Belle wore her christmas gown. My girls got to meet Belle in her Christmas dress, yellow gown and blue dress.

Which ones are the rare ones? We saw Br'er Bear, he went thorough the line (sort of) & rode Big Thunder Mountain railroad with a little girl in front of us. Fun for her family !

The parade has a large amount of the "rare" characters in it (although you can't meet and greet), but I do believe I remember being surprised by characters we hadn't seen on normal park days. I remember Beast, and I swear there was another, but the whole memory escapes me right now...

We saw Donald Duck in his Christmas tree cutting gear, Capt Hook and Smee, Aladdin and Jasmine were out as were Belle and Beast, Pinochhio, Chip and Dale and Snow White. I'm sure there were tons more but that is all we can remember right now.

Thank you to everyone for the responses. :)

DD has managed to get a large number of characters, so now the ones she still needs are more difficult to find. I know that those out for 2006 may vary, but your responses include several we need. :Pinkbounc

Leah and Emily's mom - DD would love to find Snow White's Prince

triplefigs- Rabbit would be a great find - we tried our best to track him down on the last trip but he wasn't to be found. Your link is just what I needed! HugsForEeyore's response was great (and her site is the reason we've found as many characters as we have :) ) Hopefully we'll find Bert, Mr. Penguin, Scrooge, Shaker, Big Al, and Bullseye.

Thanks again everyone!!

Uncle Scrooge would be a great find! Our DD saw him on the video they play on the DME bus and wondered where we could see him in the parks. I had no idea.

As for Brer Bear and Brer rabbit, try near the exit to Splash Mountain about 30 - 45 minutes before the Share a Dream Come True parade starts. We saw them there and got their autographs in August. Very cool!

Donald with the flannel shirt was in fantasyland, but the line was huge, I counted like 20 people, never ending. We saw the penguins from Mary Poppins, they were standing on the porch by Tony's on the way out of the mk and no one was on line for them, but this was like 11:30 pm I think.

It would be great if they're out that late! We'll have 4 newbies with us this year, so running down to the Town Square just to check for characters won't work well for us.

We were at MVMCP in 2004 & already have Donald, Brer Bear & Brer Rabbit from then. That was our very first time at wdw. :yay: We found lots of characters that night - many common, but we didn't have them yet. The highlight for DD that night was Prince Philip, and the best part was we were second in line & after we were done that line was one of the longest I've seen.

Where did you see Prince Philip? Both of my DS wore their Prince Philip costumes to CRT. My one DS is totally in love with Aurora!

There are A LOT of characters. I've never seen so many out at any visit I've ever had a WDW.

It really is a great time! We have been two years in a row. We love it!

He was with Aurora, behind the castle. I had read reports that the princesses were appearing there with their princes. When we checked, it was Cinderella & Prince Charming (which we were also excited about). I asked the CM if any others would be out, and she told me what time to be back to see Aurora & Prince Philip. Aurora is DD's favorite, and we had surprised DD earlier that day with the tea party - but Prince Philip was a great find.

I may be thinking of MNSSHP instead of MVMCP, but I think I read reports that Aurora & Philip were in the Toontown Tent in 2005.

Oh I SO wanted to see Prince Philip too! We tried, but missed them as it was almost parade time. The Abu sighting would have been great too! We started out in Adventureland, but never made it back. I love Abu!

As for who we did see..

-- Brer Bear, Brer Fox and Brer Rabbit near Splash Mountain exit.

-- Snow White and the Prince alternating with Belle and the Beast in the stroller parking area past Peter Pan and Small World

-- Piglet, Tigger and Rabbit together between the Pooh ride and Mrs. Pott's snack stand.

-- ALL of the country bears near the Jamboree. Check there between show times and follow them as needed. They are quite a handful and running all over playing tricks and having fun. We ended up with sigs and pics from all.

-- Jessie, Woody and Bullseye outside of the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon cookie/cocoa stand.

We went last year on Dec. 6 and Aurora & Philip were still in the Toontown Tent at 11:30p.m. signing autographs. We went to Toontown after the 2nd parade and had it all to ourselves. DS and I rode Goofy's Barnstormer 10 times right up 'til midnight.

I was sooooo :Pinkbounc excited to get Scrooge McDuck!
