So we got notice today that we closed (I think?!) on our recent add-on at AKV. We purchased this add-on via Fidelity, and have thankfully had very good service so far.
When we sent in all our docs, we made sure to put our current DVC member number on the contract - hoping to ensure that they don't assign us a new, additional member number.
Here is the email we got today regarding closing:
Hello!
We just wanted to let you know that the title company has advised us that your Disney Vacation Club purchase is almost complete!
The title company has sent the deed to the county for recording and will be notifying Disney of your new ownership once the deed is recorded.
Once Disney is notified, it will take 2-4 weeks for Disney to update your info into their system. On the day the transfer is done in the system, Disney will mail you a letter that provides you with your membership number.
If you have any questions, please call your agent or the Sales Manager at:
1-800-831-2990.

Obviously, that part about "Disney will mail you a letter that provides you with your membership number" is bothering me. Do I need to reach out? I'm guessing there's nothing the title company can do at this point, right? This has to be something that Disney picks up and gets straight? I'm thinking this email is probably just a form letter, so maybe I don't need to worry?
Just wondering if anyone else went through the same thing and can tell me whether or not I need to worry.
