I got a salad from Hurricane Hannas (Beach Club) after getting back from the urgent care center. But, just about every table service place had turkey dinners. So, pick the location you like as it's going to be a lot of the same food served everywhere that day.
Had I felt well enough to go out - I would have picked a favorite restaurant that was serving their regular menu. Eating turkey at WDW seems like a waste to me - I can cook that at home!
So could we but I need (feel the need) to do something special with the kids for 2008 since Thanksgiving Day 2007 my father died just before dinner. Really put a damper on things. The kids took it real hard.

I agree. Florida turkey tasted much yummier than ND turkey We ate at the Crystal Palace and loved it too. I especially enjoyed their prime rib and side dishes. I would eat there again in a heartbeat.

We had a group of 25 eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe this year. The atmosphere was fun but not as fun as it is on a regular day, I think the wait staff was too busy. They had smoked Turkey so it was good but really not traditional enough for my family for Thanksgiving. They had a skillett meal with Turkey, Ham, Chicken, Stuffing, Green Beans, corn bread and I think cranberry sauce. We wouldn't do Thanksgiving there again but it was something different being in WDW so we opted for a different meal.
Have fun wahtever you plan, the parks were really busy that week too so plan wisely.
