What kind of things do you give them? Do you do this every night? I am trying to find things to give to my daughter. I got 2 of the big mickey pops from the dollar tree, so that's a start.

I need ideas, HELP!

I bought some new princess pj's for one night, big suckers like you mentioned, some glowing wands and necklaces, and yesterday I just found a small princess art backpack with markers, crayons, stickers, a small puzzle for 7.00 and I thought that might be a nice present - I also plan on either a doll or stuffed disney character.

I can't wait for more ideas from others:sunny: princess: princess:

whoops forgot to mention that I was thinking everynight -- but maybe that is overkill??? because I do want them to get a couple things from the parks...

so I am not sure anymore

I know that everyone will have a differing opinion on this, but I would think that a gift each evening - particularly ones that cost more than a $1 or so - is overkill. Perhaps a little something to "Welcome them to Disney World" one evening would suffice.

But that is just MY opinion! :)

I think it would be great to get something everynight. It would give them something to look forword to everynight before they had to go to sleep.

My DD's got stuff every afternoon/night when we returned from the parks. We'd head out every morning, and by the time we got to elevator I'd remember that I "forgot" something and run back to the room and meet them at the bustop.

I did little stuff- figurines I got from the dollar tree- winnie/piglet/pooh etc.. Glow sticks/necklaces on the days I knew we'd be returning BEFORE the nighttime park stuff. Washclothes that turn into washclothes when they hit water etc... I think it was about $5-6 a day total

My kids LOVED it. I also had done computer notes to them each day- from one of the characters- based on what park I knew we were going to and who they'd see- or what PS character meal we had etc... One day- We changed plans mid park and cancelled a PS, I had to leave the kids and DH back at the foodcourt that evening while I ran up to take the note back. We didnt eat with Pooh that day!...oopps! I told the kids " I'll go grab the cups- brb"...worked

They still haven't a clue that it was me! The mousekeepers always set the stuff up on the beds or windows.. and since they both got the same "treat" there was no chance to mess up who got what

I made up little notes too!! In our case, Tinkerbell will fly on over while we are sleeping so she starts each day with a touch of wonder.

Each thing I bought was less than $4.00
a new bathingsuit and an Afriel bubble set ( $3.00/ 2.00 Kohl's),
a handheld Buzz lightyear game ( $1.00 TDS),
Tinkerbell wallet (Tickets at Chuck E Cheese),
Trick-or-treat bag (.50 Walgreens).
Lots of glow lights ($1.00 each Job Lot)
4 Disney Plushes (1.00 each from crane machine in mall)
Pooh key chain magnet game (2.50 Job Lot)

Everything I bought was on clearance or sale. $30 for a weeks worth of Disney Magic is well worth it to me. I don't buy junk for my DD on any other vacations....Disney is special and magical. The things I bought would have cost me 5 times as much if I bought them in WDW. Sure, I'll get something for her in the parks but not every day...that's why I am doing Tink. My DD does not get overindulged at home so this is her special vacation.

Tinkerbell has only visited DD on certain occassions. DD lost a tooth at Chef Mickey' on one trip. Tinkerbell left a postcard (held up by a Tinkerbell wire photo holder) and a headband with antenna mickey heads. On the postcard, Tinkerbell said that the Tooth Fairy had called and asked her to leave something for the tooth. DD had worried that the Tooth Fairy might not know she was at WDW.

We took a lot of pictures that morning.:)

For our trip in Dec, it will be just DH, me, and DD(8). This is a special trip for Allison! And I do have some surprises planned!!!

Tinkerbell will definitely be visiting her every night after she is sleeping! I will buy some Disney party bags before we leave home, as well as the tissue and have that packed in my suitcase. And I bought some sparkly heart confetti to sprinkle around the giftbag too! Every night, I'll leave a little something for her to find the next morning!

I got her a few pins for trading (from the Pinshoppe), a Disney nametag, a few Disney dollars, and a stuffed Mickey that plays a holiday song!!! (I ordered the stuffed Mickey from Gifts of a Lifetime!) I do have some of the glow in the dark necklaces for her to wear at night!

DH & I can't wait to see her face when she finds her surprises from Tinkerbell!!!! And, a special surprise will be the sleigh ride at WL!!! Can't wait til December!!!!

Hadn't thought about leaving something from Tinkerbell, but that's a great idea! My FIL is going with us on our trip, and he'll be arriving before us. He's going to take down our special gifts to the girls and set them up in the room for us. I ordered the Princess duffel bags from Disney Direct.com.. had them personalized (for free). Inside each bag will be $10 in Disney Dollars and (hopefully) all of the McDonald's Disney Dolls that are in the happy meals right now. There will be a card from Mickey and Minnie, welcoming the girls to thier "home"! Thinking on the Tinkerbell thing... it'd be neat to get some glitter (aka Pixie Dust) and sprinkle around the hotelroom!

We have "Tink's Bag" (which I made myself out of tinkerbell fabric. Each night while they are sleeping something small will be put in the bag for each child along with a card from a character. Let me see if I can remember what all we are doing....

Arrival night is a welcome basket from Mickey with new pajamas, princess toothbrushes and toothpaste, some mickey soap and expanding washcloths.

The second morning(and first park day) of the trip Tink will visit and leave a Disney wallet with disney dollars.

Third morning is Kim Possible for dd#1 with the Kim Possible doll she's been wanting for months and a note from KP. dd#2 will get Pooh characters and an invitation for all of us to join Pooh for Dinner

Fourth Morning Princess jumper dresses (god bless the DS and their clearance sales!) with note from princesses inviting us to breakfast.

Fifth morning another outfit for each with letters from corresponding characters

That's as much as I can remember. Somebody at one time also posted that they bought some of that glitter gel and would rub a fingerful onto the child's cheek while they were sleeping so they would see a *kiss* from Tink in the mirror. We're going to try that at least on our oldest. I haven't really spent a lot because everything is dollar store or clearance items and we don't do a lot in the way of in-park souvenirs.

Oh yes, Tink also leaves disney dollars for the adults each day because my 4 year old would be worried that Tink forgot about us if we didn't! So, to keep her from asking questions each adult gets a welcome basket and each day they get Disney dollars.

OH MY - a glitter gel kiss from Tink is such a sweet idea!!

I wouldn't have thought of that myself - Thank you!!:Pinkbounc

Mickey is the gift giver on our trips! He comes to the resort roomss to keep all the stuffed animals and dolls company while their kids are at the parks .

Mickey will visit each day and leave something behind... DD is so excited that her Pink Bear will have someone to play with during the days she's at the parks.

As for what Mickey leaves for her, we'll have to see when we get there!!!:teeth:

I do this kind of thing for my DD. Sometimes it is just Disney Stickers or a stuffed animal.
I try to find alot of Dollar Store Disney finds.

Her face lights up when she sees something left for her. It is well worth it to see the smile on her face.

I discovered that my ds is more excited about getting a surprise than the surprise itself.
I learned to really keep it simple (sucker, sticker, pencils, hat) I like to leave a few very small treats during the trip (oh and I also remind him if he is behaving badly during the week that Tinkerbell does not leave any treats kids who are behaving badly)

A small treat goes a long way!

I leave them every night so when it's time to get up (early!) they're excited. Some of the things I've left are:

lollipops
Disney markers and crayons
glow necklaces and bracelets
Disney bubbles (from Party City)
Tinkerbelle notepads and pens (from Claire's)
Disney cups
Disney mini phones (from DIsney store)
DIsney stuffed animals
Cinderella lipsticks and nailpolishes (from Ebay)

The kids can't wait to go back to Disney this summer and they are already talking about what will Tinkerbelle leave. I buy them all year long and stick them in the back of my closet. Oh, I forgot I also got them GUest of Honor pins from Laughing Place.

Hi!

I only ever did this one time. On our May, 2003 trip we were going through the turnstiles at Epcot. You know, the hectic part where the bag check & ticket turnstiles are right on top of each other (I PRAY that this has changed and that there is more room between each now!! LOL). Anyway we're going through & 4yo ds says, "Look, Mom, my tooth is loose!!" We looked down to see him holding it in his hand!! I never even knew that he had any loose teeth!!

Being the fact that it was his FIRST lost tooth & the creative, frugal mom that I am - everywhere we went I would sneak away to CM's at each venue & explain what happened & asked if there was anything that "The Toothfairy & Tinkerbell" (she's a fairy, too, right! LOL) could give to leave under his pillow for him. His older brothers loved helping out on it, too.

He received a certificate from Tinkerbell & The Tooth Fairy, a little Mickey Soccer Ball, a Test Track pin, Pooh magnet from England, Disneyland Paris Magnet from Fance, chocolate from Italy, a dreamcatcher from Canada, jewels from Morocco & his favorite, a Toothfairy Finger Puppet from Germany & a few other things that I can't remember.

He awoke & was disappointed that there was nothing under his pillow (I think the one thing that was under it fell off during the night). His brothers pointed to the bedside table & found notes from The Tooth Fairy & Tinkerbell with all of the gifts (he was also disappointed that they weren't wrapped!! LOL)

All of these were free gifts from WDW. We've been there numerous times & have found that Disney is very accomodating during special times like this one.

I would have never gone to the extremes with this, but you only loose your first tooth one time, right? LOL

This year "Tinkerbell" is going to leave a different collector pin in our room each night!!

Have fun playing "Tinkerbell"!!
:)

Unfortunately this has not changed. We were there two weeks ago and it was the same set up. I don't understand why they can't put the security check points a little farther from the turnstyles like the other parks do. There is more then enough room for it. When you ask people to do two things at once like open your bags and then immedietely get through the turnstyles it turns into a major traffic jam. My mother is one that just cannot do two things at once and always creates a jam herself. They really need to move these back some.

These are the little gifts I found for my DD. All were less than $2.00. Most from a dollar store.

Tink is giving her one each morning of our trip.

1. Princess stickers
2. Princess activity book
3. Princess body stickers (bracelets, tattoos, etc)
4. Princess candy necklace
5. Belle keychain
6. Light up ponytail holder (for nighttime activities)
7. Glow necklaces and bracelets ( one for each night)

As you can tell, DD loves the Princesses!! :hyper:

Hope everyone has a magicla trip!

I also LOVE this idea!

The kiss is such a cute idea! I'm already tucking away "Tinkerbelle" gifts for our trip next July. The kids really enjoyed it and if you have the time and can wait for the DS sales and Dollar Tree things you can make beautiful bags filled with great stuff for a lot less money.
