What are the best buildings to stay in for easy and quick access to the food court? Which buldings are close to both the bus stop, AND the food court?

Being close to the bus is not as important as the food court I don't want the morning coffee run to take a half hour like it did when we stayed at CBR and PC, so I want to know what to request when I check in. Any suggestions on how to get those requests at check in?

thanks!!

I am curious too...My thoughts exactly! Hoping for some good answers;)

Buildings 14, 15, 18 and 27 in Alligator Bayou are close to the food court and to the south bus depot. Oak manor and magnolia terrace in the mansion sections are close too. There are 4 bus stops so you'll never be too far from them. :earsboy:

Heres a link to the resort map :)

stini228 has all the info! We stayed in 27 and loved it. From our room (2709), it took me 1 1/2 minutes to walk to the food court and another 30 seconds before I was enjoying my morning coffee. Well, 'enjoying' might be too strong a word, it is Nescafe after all! ;)

Have a great trip!

We stayed in building 15 last year and were very close...this year we are trying Magnolia Terrace....

Thanks for all those recommendations, I am studying my map!!

OK, here is my new Question -

Which section, Alligator Bayou or Mansion, do you prefer and why?

Alligator Bayou! I have been fortunate to stay in Bldg. 14 each time and being steps away from the food court is the best reason of all! The gardens and tree cover in AB is just beautiful. I stayed in Oak Manor our first time here but it wasn't close to the food court at all. And while the gardens over here are beautiful also, there seems to be more shade cover in AB. Important if you like strolling around the resort.

We were in Bldg 28 and altho not as close as 14, 15, 18 and 27,
it's really not too bad. My kids enjoyed the walk through the trails w/all the ducks, rabbits and squirrels. One thing I liked about 28 it is fairly close to the parking lot and easy to unload your luggage upon arrival. Have never stayed in the mansions so can't comment on that area. Heard they are beautiful and very nicely decorated tho.

We were there in May and stayed in AB building 36 true it was a hike in the morning but it was so peaceful and beautiful and the walk was about 5 minutes it was a treat really...we were travelling with dd age 4. We did venture over to the mansions just to check em out...We liked the AB section best it just seemed to us as more of a getaway but then we're more "Huck Finns" then "Scarlett O'Haras". A note about the buses maybe it was the time of year we were there but they did not always make the loop around the resort as they were supposed to I think. We never could quite figure out the scheduling so we almost always walked to the front. Sometimes they made the loop but most of the time they went directly to the parks from the front. Still it was a fabulous trip and we will absolutly stay here again

The AB section has the trundle bed and is also $15.00 more per night and the mansions don't....
hope that helps!!

Has anyone else stayed at both?

We stayed in Oak Manor and it was very nice and convenient to get to the main building and pool
