They were online within a couple of weeks or less.

We got all the proofs 4x6- about 50ish and a album of 4x6 with 12 pictures- they picked our for the album, would've rather done that ourselves...This stuff came about a month after the wedding

Yes - if you want to pick the photos they put in the album, tell them beforehand and they'll send you a form so you can indicate your choices. :thumbsup2 (The exception is UK Escape couples, who don't get to pick which images go in the album but who do get a FREE CD of all their photos.)

Interchanging the pictures in the folio isn't hard. They're just in there with little glue dots. I took all mine out, put in others, rearranged them, and pressed them back into place.

Now... Only two more years until I can by that darn CD!

its only uk escape couples get the cd free, we dont get ours free

Ah - sorry - forgot to mention that... Maybe they'll start selling the disc at a lower price to Wishes couples the way they are apparently doing for Escape couples who forego the website and the contact book.....

that would be nice, I would much rather just have the cd than anything else to be honest

Here are some pictures of the albums; we had two books because we did MK and MGM for our shoot.

We actually got the album before our proof book  , so I wouldn't count on being able to select your photos for the album unless you ask in advance.

Figment, those are nice! Mine was more of a folio that opened to a three part display. It holds 12 photos, 4 on each page. I like yours better!

The only bad thing is that they sent them in little cloth bags and I feel like I need to keep them wrapped up inside, so they don't get damaged :rotfl:

Do you have a picture of your folio?

Ok Vanessa - after seeing your book this is something I really want to do now. I kept putting it off thinking I did not want the added expense but - I just love your book. I am going to call our planner right now and see if anything is open the week we are there.

I was really surprised at how nice the albums were too. I know so many brides (including myself) are put off by the price, but in the end the albums are beautiful and the pictures are priceless! I'm glad that you're going to have a shoot done too!

Are your pictures 8x10s or 4x6s? I'm wondering if that's why you got albums and Ember got a folio...
Carrie, they're just the 4x6s. I think if I reallly didn't like one of the shots I could probably figure out how to exchange out one of the other proofs. That is a good question why Ember got the folio. I know Disney photography told me right before they sent my albums out that they had just switched over to standard 4x6 proofs instead of 3x5 or 4x5 I don't remember which one.

Yes, I was wondering about the album vs the folio. I definately want the album. I have left a message with my planners assistant to find out if there are any slots available around our wedding.

Linda

Oh wow, those albums do look nice. I'm feeling better about booking our shoot.

I do hope that they've completely switched over to the albums instead of the folios. Either that, or maybe if you do a 2-park shoot you get the albums?

Do the proofs come as doubles by any chance? Just wondering in case somehow one print gets damaged hehe.

I'll take a picture of the folio when I get home (next Friday). Just for comparisons sake. It's nice, but it's not something I would display even though that seems to be its purpose.
