What is Marmite? I'm think of taking my own set of eating utensils. A decent knife is a big need. We drive so we take a bunch of stuff. The bell staff come to my car with a cart and I tell them they'll probably need two of them!
The biggies for us are..
Scissors
Plastic wrap/ aluminum foil
Tupperware or Gladware containers
A good non-stick skillet
Spices incl. sea salt and fresh ground pepper
A nice spatula- cuz the one there always looks like someone chewed on it!
My own tea cup- I'm picky!
I always think of more when I am in the middle of cooking- but I always manage to muddle through.

One other cooking utensil I'm adding to the Owner's Locker (already have the George Foreman, good knife, scissors, rubbermaid containers) is a whisk. We generally stay in studios, so we also have a set of Pfalzgraf melamine dishes).
Have to agree with Snowbunny. Worst stuff I've EVER tasted. Of course when both my boys tried it they said they liked it! Go figure. Their 3rd grade teacher was from Australia so they'd do a big unit which included trying some foods and that was one.
Marmite is to the British what Peanut Butter is to Americans, personally, I detest peanut butter but I love marmite! and I'm not British (Oh well to each his own)
