In either this weeks or last weeks show they were talking about paying with Gift Cards for your trip. We used the Target red card to save the 5% on gift cards, which saved us a bunch although a huge stack of cards that paid for our trip. We saved all our gift cards in case we had a refund to one of the cards from the tip and they've been siting on my desk for quite a while waiting for me to check their balances before throwing them out. So today's the day I sit down to go through the balances of the card, which we believed to have $0 balances to find a surprise! One of the cards has $50 remaining on it!
$50 that we could have easily thrown out as a presumed empty card after our trip. So note to everyone using gift cards to pay for your trip, save your cards and check the balances after your trip! Disney now has a website to make checking your balances easier then calling to check the balances 1 by 1.
