Do you usually pay oop for the Signature meal or oop for another meal? In other words, if you have 6 TS for 6 nights, and do a signature meal how do you rearange you budget.

We travel with our 19 year old son who would rather eat counter serv. meals, so we pay for his and use his ats's. Another good way is to have only one person use the 2 TS and the other pop for just an entre. One app and one dessert is enough for both of us to share or we would not finish our dinner. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

There are many restaurants where 2 adults could split a TS and be quite full, especially if they either had a big CS meal for lunch OR if they added maybe a salad or soup to their one TS. Example: We are splitting the filet mignon at Le Cellier. I'll have the scallops appetizer and my firiend will have the cheese soup as an extra. With her DDE card...the extra is at minimal cost

I envision doing this at Rsoe and Crown (the cheese/fruit appetizer is huge) and then getting the steak and prawns and she will have the steak and I'd have the prawns. Dessert is also eay to split.

So restaurants you just want the whole experience and so for those you use a TS for everyone.

Or, at the 2 Ts places like Citricos, you could get one dining plan appetizer, entree, dessert , drink and then order another appetizer or entree al a carte.

We are planning this out for a May trip right now....it does involve a wee bit of thinking to maximize value.

Good luck

We just returned from a 6 night package w/ dining and ate 6 TS meals, including 2 Signature restaurants, Artist Point and Jiko. At both places, we used 2 credits for one complete meal and paid OOP for an entree. It worked perfectly both times...waitresses knew exactly what we wanted to do, how to split the check, and how to get most bang for your buck with meal plan. At Artist Point, for example, she told us we could get the Chefs Selection with the meal plan, which included a salad, soup, entree, and dessert. Dh ate the salad, I had the soup, I ordered a separate entree, and we split dessert. I felt like I was going to pop! There's NO way we could have eaten any more food than we got, so it worked out really well.
