How accurate have you found Touring Plans to be? I just put a plan together for the morning of July 6 (our arrival day via Amtrak, scheduled to get in at 6:15, but you never know until you arrive - I entered 9 am as our start time to be safe). Think this is actually close to what we will experience? Seems pretty great for a 9 am park arrival.

9:03 am Buzz Lightyear (8 min wait)
9:17 Star Tours FP
9:23 BTMRR (11 min wait)
9:42 HM (3 min wait)
9:56 POC (8 min wait)
10:20 JC (17 minute wait)
10:55 Lunch at TT
11:35 Matterhorn (25 minute wait)
12:08 ST w/FP

I have used Touring Plans for the last several years with great success. And when you arrive at rope drop you can get a lot done the first two hours in the park. That being said, I have never been to Disney in the summer...only Fall, Winter, and Spring LOL. And I have never experienced high volume days of that magnitude.

I would pad in a LOT more time for BTMRR - the plans are a bit skewed because it was closed for so long. If you look at the averages since it reopened for the time of day, it's usually about a half hour or so. The rest seems about right, though Matterhorn tends to break down a lot so that time can get screwed up as well.

What a difference....I plugged in your rides on another touring plan site that I have a membership to and here is what this one said. By the way, I emailed the company and they have BTMRR updated with current wait times. The numbers listed below are wait time, ride time, and walk time to next ride in that order.

9:00 Buzz Lightyear - wait 12 - ride 5 - walk 1
9:18 Get Star Tours FP - wait 15 - ride 1 - walk 10
9:44 Haunted Mansion - wait 13 - ride 8 - walk 4
10:09 Pirates - wait 18 - ride 16 - walk 1
10:44 Get BTMRR FP
10:45 Lunch at TT (hope that is enough time for lunch) 45 min
11:31 BTMRR using FP - wait 7 - ride 4 - walk 4
11:46 Star Tours using FP - wait 8 - ride 9 - walk 8
12:11 Matterhorn - wait 45 - ride 3 - walk 7
1:06 Jungle Cruise - wait 38 - ride 8

I would not like this schedule, with the wait times on the last two rides.

Sunflare - I agree about BTMRR. I was pretty surprised to see that short of a wait at that time of day.

Baxhappyplace - I am with you! No way would I wait that long for the Matterhorn or JC! I also got a Ridemax subscription (not sure if that's what you used), but I'm going to compare plans.

Since I don't know exactly what time we will arrive, I'm guessing we will play much of the day by ear and just enjoy ourselves. At least there is FP :)

Oh geez- you guys are making me nervous now!! I only have a membership to touringplans.com right now- can I ask what two you used? Anyone know if one is more accurate or better at planning than another? Looks like the second plan you have might be longer waits because it scheduled them differently too? I'd be very interested to know what everyone's take on this is since we are going in December and I'm planning on creating a touring plan as well

Yes I did use Ridemax. We always use Ridemax and we find it to be pretty accurate. We don't know the parks as well as others do so for us it works. When we went last year I bought both plans and I just thought Ridemax came up with a better plan so we didn't use Touring Plans.

The trick is to play around with the schedule. Last night I was making our plans for our upcoming trip, I played around with the ending time of the last ride. I changed it from closing time to 11pm, 1030pm, and 10pm. The 10pm one was the best with the least amount of wait times in line, I was surprised.
