It's real, trust me!! The two days before a full moon, the two days after, and the night of the full moon definitely make people act up more than usual!!

Tonight at work I was hit, scratched, almost bit, and called some names I haven't heard in awhile. I had an IV pulled out, two people fall, and at least six people who were up wandering the whole night!! Thankfully, I have the next two nights off!!!! :jester: :p  :jester: :p

What a night! I'm glad you get some rest too.

I've heard too much to think that there isn't something to it.

When my twins were in preschool their teachers insisted that you could tell the difference in the children's behavior during a full moon.
I believe it! Kids seem to be more wound up and active during a full moon.

I believe, I believe! I work in a salon at night. Let me tell you once that sun sets it get weird. I have no idea where they come from, but I have to say it makes for an interesting night at work.

My mother was an operator and she hated working on full moon nights. She said all the nuts came out and played on the phone.

I don't have to look in the sky for a full moon. if my ex is acting loony, the moon is definitely full.

I thought people were driving crazy last night - changing lanes erradically, turning in front of other cars. I even asked my mom, "Is there a full moon or something?"

Holy moly is it ever a full moon. My DS and DD are totally affected by any seasonal or time change. They off the wall. It affects their sleep, temperment. God if I don't get sleep tomorrow I'll be off the wall!!:D

I think its all BS!!!! I deal with dumb/stupid/crazy people every day at work and it doesnt matter if it is a full moon or not, they still act in the manner they will act in. The time of the month people act worse is earlier in them month right after the government checks come in the mail and alot of people have money for alcohol/drugs. By the end of the month they tend to have to find money inthe seat cushions and behave a little better because they have less access to drugs/alcohol.

I think there's some truth to it, but I dont know exactly HOW people get affected. Anyone who works in a hospital will tell you that the crazy stuff happens more so when the moon is full.

I have believed in the "full moon" effect for years, though I did not realize that last night was a full moon. Last night, for no apparent reason, I had weird dreams, woke up a ton of times, and just a had real restless night. I commented to my DH what a bad night sleep I had this morning. I went into my younger DSs room to wake hime up, though he was already awake and said he "didn't sleep at all the whole night, well, maybe for only 3 minutes". I then went into older DSs room, who immediately commented to me on how often he woke up last night. Now, mind you, we are usually all pretty sound sleepers! Now I guess it all makes sense!

Both of my sister-in-laws who are nurses use to tell us some interesting stories. The moon seems to affect a lot of things so why not people?

For all of you full-moon "believers" out there :jester: :jester: :jester: ...........
