Real or Artificial?

Real ones are expensive and there are no tree farms near us. And they make a mess. And you don't have to buy a new one every single year.

Our tree is actually older than I am.

We have to go on a ladder to decorate it.

If you're talking tree, I like fake.
They don't smell, less messy and you don't have to buy a new one every year. And they can get up early, and stay up as long as you want.

We've been fake for like.. 7 years.
It's just easier.
The limbs aren't as fragile/bendy, it's prelit, you don't have to water it or pick up needles.

Normally we have this dinky 6' fake tree, but this year we got a real one. I LOVE the smell, and it's at least 7.5'. It was a good deal, only 45$ and it's huge and really wide.

We also got 2 new ornaments for me, one is a replica of Big Ben, and the other has a California theme in the shape of the state, with the DCA roller coaster, grapes, the Golden Gate Bridge, and other things on it.

Mine are very random. We have like a Spiderman, at least 10 different Barbies, Batman, etc.

I know, stupid. I'm just not used to it, heck, my old school was built on an XMAS tree farm.

Well in Northern California (Not warm persay, but not freezing except for maybe frost overnight) we had lots of 'em.

They have them here in Texas...although it gets kind of cold down here...but not near as cold as up north.


Anyway, Fake.
Always.
Since before I was born.
We just got a new one after Christmas last year when the trees were marked down and I love it.
It's prelit so my dad loves it, too.
Less work for him.
