I've been looking at different careers here and had an interesting interview yesterday, at a wine brokers. I'd appreciate the input from any Brits that spend more than 3 weeks in Florida on a regular basis and enjoy a good bottle of wine at their villa/hotel/on holiday.

I've put a poll on the community board, but I'd appreciate any input from Brits. If you could pre-order a case or two of wine to be ready for you when you got to your villa would that be a service that would interest you. The rest of the details of the service is on the community board on this link http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=709392 . I'd appreciate any input either on this post or on the poll.

I doubt I would use such a service whilst on holiday in Orlando. Whilst only an interested amateur, rarely would I be surprised by a wine and I do enjoy selecting it myself. Sure, I enjoy some more than others, but I would have a fairly good idea of how a wine would taste from age, price, region, etc.

Wine is expensive in the US, even their own, so $15 a bottle wouldn't put me off. In fact that's probably the minimum we spend on a bottle over there. However, I'm guessing that most people willing to spend that much will have a pretty good grasp of wine.

If I was going to consider something like this whilst on holiday, it would have to be a mixed case.

Good luck with it - I hope it goes well. It's something I'd love to do myself.

I'm not a big wine drinker Vernon so it would not be for me but this sounds like an excellent idea in principle. Best of luck!
