We will be dining at Boma's for breakfast. My DD would like to know if it is possible to see any animals while you are at the restaurant or lodge. I should add that we are staying at POP not AKL.

Yes, you can view the animals at the Lodge, either out by Arusha Rock or if you walk out past the pool there are some viewing areas there. You can't see any from the restaurant though.

When I was there about a week and a half ago most of the animals had been taken in for feeding (from the viewing area off the main lobby.)

You may want to call ahead and see what a good time to see the animals might be!

The lodge is amazing!

We ate breakfast, then walked outside to the patio where we were able to see a few animals roaming around. I don't think you can see them from inside the restaurant, though.

We stayed at AML 2 years ago and we weren't impressed with the food. My husband is a little on the picky side and didn't eat that much. But there was a potato dish that he loved. The animals can be seen from the observation deck or on side on the other side of the pool. I hope you like it better then we did.

I agree that breakfast was basic and boring. I like Boma's for dinner. You can see animals without having to go to the restaraunt.
