This is a code for getawaytoday and they are the only place to get 2 MM (as far as I know)

If you book with Disney Travel and stay at a hotel, they also give you a voucher to redeem at check in at the hotel. I wouldn't stress too much about it. Get some rest! You'll need it!

Clarification...

If someone is staying onsite, only reason to use GAT for tickets is if they are the best price, b/c you're getting the MMs by being a guest at the hotel.

You HAVE to buy your tickets from Getaway Today to get your 2 MMs. If you book thrugh Disney at a Good Neighbor, you only get 1 MM (but you also will get TTMM and PS for Aladdin, etc...) GetawayToday does not offer that.

I agree with Bumbershoot, if you are staying on site, you should only buy your tix from GAT if they are cheaper as you get unlimited MMs from the hotel.

I stressed out the first time I tried GAT. I am a VERY type A person and didn't have any tickets in hand and had a knot in my stomach when I went to the ticket booth to pick up my tickets. It was soooo easy and I didn't need to worry at all. It says on the bottom of your ticket that you pick up at the ticket booth that 2 MM's are included.

Just one little note - make sure if you make the reservation (in your name) that you bring your ID with you. I made the first reservation in my husbands name and tried to pick up the tickets with my ID and couldn't do it. Thankfully he was right there and had his ID, so it worked out just fine.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with purchasing the character meals through GAT. It indicates that the vouchers for the brunch at Goofy's Kitchen is 26.5 an adult including tax and gratuity. When I called Disney dining it said in July when we are going it is a peak price that comes to over $37. That is a huge savings. My only concern is that the voucher from GAT won't cover the peak price. Anyone have any ideas? This discount is the only way I can talk my DH into the splurge! Thank you also for the discount code - that also really helps. I love these boards.

That's a really good question Obithar. I don't know why I had it in my mind that only WDW was doing the special pricing during peak times. On the Disney website they fail to list the pricing for Ariel's. so, how are we to know? I guess we'll have to call Disney and ask, also ask about the meal vouchers and call Getaway and ask them about it. They may not even have an answer yet as this pricing strategy is new. Certainly makes me think twice about booking Ariel's in the summer when it's $10 more than the usual overpriced rate. LOL.

I did call Disney and ask about the vouchers and they didn't seem to know anything about them. They only seemed to know about the vouchers that came with with purchased meal plan. Anybody know anything? I guess I will contact Get Away Today and see what they can tell me.

The 2 Magic mornings are only good for USA residents. This I was told when I got my tickets... kinda bummed me out but as long as I have at least one I am happier then a pig in mud.

I used GAT for our Christmas trip in December. I had no problems at all.
I also bought the character meal vouchers, for Goofys Kitchen and I think I also got Lilo & Stitch breakfast from them also. If not from somewhere else.
They are based out of Ogden, Utah I believe, at least thats where the package was post marked. I plan on using them again for the Thanksgiving trip.

We used GAT when we went last year. Much like those of you questioning things now I had my doubts. Here is what I learned and will hopefully put you a little more at ease.
As the one person said. Go the day before and get your tickets as it's a ton easier. The whole process for getting tickets was very painless. As for meals we did the Ariel's lunch and dinner at Goofy's. Both went over without a hitch. I was kind of scared as the person in front of us at Goofy's was asked to move aside for a few minutes while they figured out her ressie. From what I could tell she either used another agency or forgot to call and set a time so something got messed up... When it comes to meals keep this in mind. You need to know what date and time you are going. DL has a certain amount of days in advance that you can make a ressie. Mark that date and then call to make the ressie. GAT doesn't set your time for you.

Has anyone received a response from GetAwayToday about their 2 Magic Mornings only being available to U.S. residents?

I spoke to them yesterday, and they said that you do not get 2 MM for Canadian residents. HOWEVER, instead, we get 2 character breakfast vouchers for each ticket . It sounds like a way better deal to me!!! Unfortunately, we are planning on getting City Passes, and then you don't get anything extra. However, they will price match CAA (AAA) prices. Hope that helps. They did mention that was the current Canadian promotion - so not sure if that changes.

I hadn't heard anything after 1 1/2 days, so I have just phoned and spoke to Thomas. He claimed that it didn't matter where we lived (I told him Australia for myself) and that I would get the two magic mornings??? I wonder if I will get an email reply from anyone else.

I hope that means FunSun vacations, because that is who we are booked with and our vouchers say 2 MM.

I bought our April 2008 trip tickets from GAT the day I left.
Picked them up with my ID at the ticket booth.

I did verify with a live agent that this was the process, as when I tried to order
online it was giving me delivery options,etc... It was no problem getting our tickets with no receipt at all.

I used PODCAST for a $10 discount... thanks for the tip, whoever I read it from.
