For those of you that dont like Eisner a freebie

I got this link from one of the message boards I go through. It is a website that promotes the welfare of the disney corp.

I hope this doesnt offend anyone but some people don't like Eisner so I thought I would share.

I have been sporting this bumper sticker that says "Goodbye Michael Save the Magic" for about 6 months now.

The one that my DH got reads "Bring Back Roy Save the Magic."

If you feel strongly about the changing the direction of Disney, www.savedisney.com is a good place to start.

Actually, I couldn't find anything from the first link (the Kintera one) that has anything about a free bumper sticker.

But I do know that if you register at www.savedisney.com you will get a Save Disney bumper sticker.

I realize many people want him out, but honestly, I do not know the facts behind all this. Anyone care to inform some of us who are not aware and/or educated on this subject with some facts (not opinions) as to why he should be removed or what he has done to have upset so many people? I am not trying to fuel a fire by any means but am curious why he is so hated...

BostonDisneyKid - Probably most of my feelings are based upon opinion.
BUT one fact that I can tell you is that it was with Eisner that Pixar - which produced Disney's most successful (in the last decade) animated (or non-animated, for that matter) films - got away. If it weren't for Pixar, there would be no Woody, no Buzz, and no Nemo.
I know that there are a lot of people who know so much more than I do about this and hopefully they will join in on this conversation.
But I would also suggest that you take a look at www.savedisney.com - lots of business kind of stuff on there.

Definitely check out that site. And honestly if someone in the Disney family wants the guy out that has to tell you something!

He has brought down the morals and "idea" of what Walt wanted Disney to be.

I really don't know much about Eisner, but when I heard that he was in control of Disney, I sure didn't think that he had been in control for as long as he has. I always thought Roy was in control of the Disney empire. And when all of this started with Roy trying to get Eisner out, that somehow Eisner took over his job.

Guess I don't understand how Disney can be run without some form of the Disney family not being anywhere in the company.

JMO, but since Walt Disney started this company, I think a "Disney" should be in charge. Of course I'm sure the board members feel differnetly, but how can you have WDW or DL without a "Disney" being involved. Or is Roy still involved in someway?

I just like Disney and really haven't paid attention on what goes on behind the scenes, until DH and I decied that we were going to go to WDW for the first time back in August. That's when I found this website and started finding out all kinds of things about WDW that I never knew.

Roy was involved somewhat until he couldnt deal with Eisner and his puppets anymore..another long timer left with him and started the site.

It says alot about a company when the namesakes dont want to deal with the ones in charge
