For those of you looking for Alaska...

I have noticed, as you all probably have, that there are no Alaska pins floating around for trade online. I called the Disney Store in Alaska, thinking maybe I could call them on Pin Trading Night and offer my state pins for any of the Alaska Pin Traders who might want other states. Manager said no go, she wouldn't allow trading like that.

So I am thinking with the lack of response, Alaska may not be attainable (I will still try of course). Just sharing my info.

Thanks for trying, our store in Lincoln will ship to other states, but I guess Alaska store won't??
My son wants them to ship him some snow for christmas!!

Someone had posted somewhere (Dizpins?) that AK and HI would not ship their pins.
Luckily I am not trying for all the states. Just whatever I happen across and can trade for.

I wasn't asking the store to ship...just if there were some traders in on Tuesday, who might be interested in other state pins, that maybe I could offer something I have in trade. She just was not going to budge. I heard from the SD TDS CM that Alaska has a line 3 BLOCKS long and that's why they wouldn't fill phone orders. Hawaii now I think would have if they had had any left by the time I had called, but they were out.

I also heard a little rumor that Alaska's store limited pins to 1 per customer so if there weren't friends there getting extra pins for traders, there might not be trades to be had. Which is a bummer if true

I haven't seen any New Mexico's up for trade either. I called one store last night at 7:30pm and was told they and the other store sold out at 9AM.

So if anyone in NM has one for trade it doesn't hurt to ask.
